Steve Wiltfong changes crystal ball from cloudy to Michigan for Zach Harrison

As the title says, Steve Wiltfong, the lead expert on 247 for Zach Harrison, has changed his crystal ball prediction from murky/cloudy/undecided to Michigan.

Let's Go Blue!

Pretty sick DL class with Mazi, Hinton, Ojabo and Harrison and the rest of the crew.  Size speed and athleticism at every position.

Who wouldn’t want to play for the mad scientist Don Brown and the best (and most fun) defense in football.

The performance of the D continues to pay dividends off the field. This is how you build a dynasty. Performance on and off the field leads to the top tier recruits. Rinse. Repeat. Would you rather play for JH and Co, or Saban? All other things have not been equal, but Michigan is on it's way.

Sam Webb has said all along that Zach does not want to go to Ohio State.  The real battle has been between us and Penn State.  After Saturday, the decision has been made.  Go Blue!

The news of Wiltfong saying he's going Michigan came out Saturday night.

Daxton Hill, Zach Harrison, and still possibly Danielson Ike, LIGHTS OUT!!

Though it's still close for Danielson Ike. It's a positive for Michigan that he likes Ed Warinner. Can you imagine Danielson Ike after 4 years with Ed Warinner!

Hopefully we land him bc it looks like Crouch is goin to Clemson with a lot of ballz goin their way lately

I don't think Michigan was ever really in the running for Crouch. The talk of playing 2 ways, and playing that possibility strong to him, may have got his interest for a short time. But Clemson probably started talking that possibility too to follow suit. He would have been an awesome linebacker for Don Brown.

I hope I'm wrong and I see he goes Michigan. But I'm 85% he's going Clemson.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Lorenz post-visit thinks Michigan leads for Crouch, that Crouch prefers Michigan, that his mom/grandma were won over, and that the staff believes they will sign Crouch. He is close to a CB.

Wiltfong also thinks we now lead, though Crouch has yet to take his Clemson official.

And there is the sad commentary by Jaque........

Jaque, did you attend Michigan in Ann Arbor?  Apparently not, if you cannot believe the above.... Ann Arbor is a fantastic college town, and working town on its own...  it has enough merit of its own for any recruit to want to go there.....

That gives me an interesting thought.  How badly would Rutgers beat a team comprised of the best football players from this board?  The only condition is that we would have to disqualify any current Michigan players that are lurking on this board.  So we have a bunch of guys that probably played High School ball, and a few former Michigan players that are past their prime.

Given a month for that team to train, does Rutgers still beat that team by 100?

And there it is...  sounds like Warren knew in advance before committing, that he had a contingent offer for 2020 based on whether Michigan landed 2019 Harrison. And that if they did, they'd shift their scholarship positional allotment and would be no DT slot for him in 2020....  and if now the word is Harrison is Blue, and if he communicated it as such, then Warren probably was privately informed by Michigan, and thus, Warren decommits today......  otherwise this is an odd coincidence...

I think you hit the nail on the head. I know a lot of people don't like us "processing" recruits. However, I think it is better to have difficult conversations early so that players know where they would potentially stand on the depth chart. It gives them the chance to make a more informed decision along with their families.

thank you...  the way I've seen this, that Harrison is pulling a Solomon and privately commits, to avoid the local redneck backlash in Columbus... and he won't outright commit until maybe just before Xmas or during that week... then bolt to AA in January.     This Warren thing just didn't come out of the blue....  I speculate someone on staff told him they had to fully shift the scholarship plan, which was known in advance by both parties.....

But note, that the two players play different positions... I wouldn't be surprised if Warren ends up in class, but I doubt it, because the way things are going, there are big upticks coming in recruiting, based on the rest of our season.

It'd be interesting to see the domino chart to see what they have space for now...  I could be wrong on the above, but maybe they got a silent commit on a 2019 DT, and not DE Harrison... does anyone know if we had any top DT visiting vs PSU ???

That's not the information Brandon Brown over in the Fort reported in regards to Warren. Evidently he's had some off the field issues and Michigan was waiting until after the bye week to see how they played out. Mattison notified him and his head football coach that they are moving on from him. This has nothing to do with Harrison!

UPDATE PART 2: Andrew Ellis, the representative for Eleven Warriors on 247, just put in a crystal ball for Harrison to Michigan. Even the enemy is conceding Harrison to Michigan!
