Also piggybacking on this....how is M going to take all these OL??  They have 4 OL committed currently, want to get the "Fab 5" plus Slaton.  Obviously, it's possible there will be some decommits and non-commits from the 6 uncommitted they are going after, but what kind of numbers is M looking at attaining at OL? 7? 8?

I live in Florida and occasionally attend IMG games. It's always an interesting experience, completely unlike a normal high school game atmosphere. My question: is recruiting players from IMG different for college coaches in any way? Does it provide any unique challenges?

Do you think The Game is weighing on recruits minds?  Obviously they will be excited about it, but do you feel there are any holding commitments back to see how that game plays out?

ESPN reported that Michigan seems to have made some make up strides with Aubrey Solomon.  Do you have any insight into what is going on with that situation?

I know that we've talked about Harbaugh's strategy being a national one essentially, but I think this is an interesting question given Michigan's hisotry in the state of Ohio when it comes to players. Are we at that point where we've stopped relying on a regional strategy altogether? I would be interested in the answer.

The number of incoming recruits seems to change quite a bit - I have heard as high as 33 for this class.  What is your best guess for a number on this year's class and the subsequent year or two?

As the Harbaugh era gets into full gear, how often should we expect to be breaking in a new quarterback (every other year? every 3 years? something else?), and what does that mean for QB recruiting?

As always, thanks a bunch for your insights.

What makes Michigan under Harbaugh good at recruiting, and especially, how does it distinguish itself against other top programs? Are there overarching strategies and pitches--or does Michigan maybe excel at tailoring recruiting tactics for a particular player?

I have heard chatter that he really liked his Michigan visit but also that the Buckeyes probably still lead. What is your take on his recruitment?

Who is the most highly touted recruit that we are most likely to flip for another program?

And vice versa, who's most likely to flip from our current class?

Assuming we get JKP and Thomas, who else would you project in the class? Are they aiming for a particular number or is it more a case of adding the best players available regardless of position?

Sam Webb is adament that if Najee commits to any other school that it would be Michigan at this point. He doesn't expect a decommitment, but Michigan has the biggest chance of flipping him. I think Najee really likes Michigan from the sound of everything.

...at this point, how does the staff view recruiting for the D. Bronwn "Viper/Peppers" position? is it more looking for premier HS athletes who fit that athletic mold/build (believe Darron Lee was a HS QB before playing the same position for the suckeyes) or is it just looking for the most athletic S/LB prospect in that 6'2/200-220lb range. I know Shannon Reid has been mentioned there and the staff recently offered the Las Vegas Bishop Gorman player Bolden. Do you see the staff continue to push for a third Safety in the class (assuming JKP jumps in at some point) like Bolden, Pola-Mao or maybe a little more under the radar Safety prospect like Kendarian Handy-Holly? His film looks better than J'Marick Woods at FS and apparently has a laser-timed 4.5 40.

Do you think MSU's dumpster fire season ends up in significant changeover in Sparty's staff, and if so ... does that push Ambry Thomas to Michigan?

Who specifically on MSU's staff are Ambry Thomas and his mom close with?

What's the most ridiculous game-theory shit you've ever seen in recruiting? Any coach at a second tier school ever recruit like 10 qb's to boost the odds they find a great one?

With likely several NJ recruits taking in the 78-0 Rutgers massacre, it got me to thinking what if any impact there might be for recruits taking their OV to opposing teams during Michigan week?  Obviously they do not get all of the special benefits, but is there anything to the idea that recruits would choose that week because of their interest in UM?  Obviously could play big this year with OSU being on the road.
