Wondering how much SMRoss will ultimately donate to the University...and if it will be "University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, presented by Stephen M. Ross". He took that billionaire pledge to donate 1/2 of his estimated net worth (5 billion) by the time he leaves this world...

I am not sure if it was posted in the other thread, and it if it was, apologies for the redundancy. Here is the university's official statement detailing the gift and some of the proposals attached to it - LINK
Ross is quoted, of course: "The University of Michigan had a profound impact on my life and I have received enormous satisfaction from being able to give back to the institution that played such a critical role in my success."

Highlight for me was when Dan asked Coach "if Johnny Manziel was your QB..."
Coach replied "he would be behind Devin Gardner right now"

Phil Kniight at Oregon. Having a billionaire benefactor is a big plus. Now if we can just turn Larry Page into a big Michigan sports fan (maybe he is, I don't know).

I'd take Larry putting in the monorail he lobbied for while he was at school between central and north campus. He's could pay for it with pocket change now!

...monorails are pretty expensive. They're almost the definition of "absurd waste of money".
Although he could probably get a great price on a used one from Detroit.
