sports nation harbaugh edition

Submitted by hazardc on

On ESPN sportsnation right now, we have a woman dressed up as jim harbaugh, and two former NFL players dressed as a steak and a carton of milk, respectively.

I do not have a screenshot.    Hope someone else had the foresight!

in the ESPN programming, SportsNation is nails on the chalkboard.

I remember when the first started and it was more SPN and less E.  We watched Australian Rules Football with the goal umpire raising one flag or two, depending on how they scored.

I lived in the ΑΧΣ (Chem Engineers and I was not one of them) at 1319 Cambridge and we alternated watching ESPN's coverage of Australian Rules and some new station called MTV.  There was a team (I think it was Camberra) who would send in some Neanderthal looking guy to take out the other team's best player.  We cheered for him every time.

Great place to live as a roomer, but those folks couldn't organize a party in a brewery.

When my wife and I switched out and I was on candy duty last night, we had several Harbaughs wander up the front walk, and they all managed to get a "Go Blue" and some candy as well. Actually, I was impressed how many little kids were even faithful to the outfit down to the whistle and Sharpie.

Living in the Cleveland area I had a sea of these adorable little boys show up at my door.

And tust me, being a father myself, knowing they were just kids just out enjoying Halloween, and that they were prolly dressed by their parents, it made me feel real bad evey time I gave one of them a nice bag of fresh cat turds for their treat.

But I've never found Michelle Beadle to be kinda hot before seeing her in that get-up.  I've always enjoyed her commentary, especially when she'd appear with Simmons.  Until I saw this, though, I never thought of her as attractive.

I have always had a thing for women in ball caps, pony tail back, etc.  Good wash-and-wear, natural look.  So Imma think that's at the root of this.  Yep, that's the ticket!  Nothing to see here - move along.

Wouldn't it be great if we could somehow purge all the assholes who peruse here, who dissed Harbaugh no soon as three years ago... I was one of the very few, defending him here.

Am not a fan of the Woody eyeglass frames, at all.  Odd, because every other thing Jim has done I've applauded with a whole heart..   for whatever reason, it makes him look too old.... I preferred the cheap $ 5  reading glasses they sell at the cashier's checkout, and mostly prefer contacts.

I know Isola isn't a college football 'expert'... but he is arguably the most 'pro-Michigan / pro-Harbaugh' journalist that is on ESPN regularly.  I've never heard him say anything less than positive about both, at least recently.

Kornheiser also seems to be a big fan of all things Harbaugh, he said recently only Michigan and OSU have a shot to beat Alabama because of Harbaugh/Meyer + On field talent.  It left me with the impresssion the casual educated college football fan wants Bama vs UM/OSU far more than any other possible outcome.
