Sports Nation: Ann Arbor

Submitted by Bb011 on

So i was walking around campus today and saw a big tent and other things that said ESPN on it. I started talking to the guy and Sports Nation is coming to Ann Arbor tomorrow. I had no idea about this  and couldn't find a thread on it, so i thought i would share. If your around campus at 4 pm it is in front of the MLB and Rackham (in the little courtyard area) just north of the diag.

Are you kidding me?

I am practically never home to catch SportsNation, but anything with Beadle is damn sure watchable.

I mean - you'd have to seriously hate women or be gay or both to not at least consider the show "watchable".

(FYI - big fan of Beadle because not only is she good looking (esp. for her age), but she seems very intelligent, witty, and clearly knows sports (unlike EA))

overreact (and somewhat homophobic) much?  I expressed an opinion on a TV show, and not your girl - it's awful.  There are many, many better venues for the watching of beautiful babies

And if ESPN is where you go to get excited, I'm not sure you should be namecalling other people gay.  smiley face.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, yo

Beadle is widely reguarded as a rising star at ESPN.  She's became significantly more famous since her ESPY dress incident, but she has all the tools to be the first female voice at ESPN that doesn't have a nagging quality that makes you say "Yeah, but....".

And on your other comments - if you don't like a woman who is smart, attractive, and charming - then you don't like women.  That is just the facts, man.

FYI, near the top of the bar on the right side of the page, right above the diaries, is a box titled "Site Search".  If you had typed "SportsNation" into it and clicked "Search", you would have noticed that the very first result is a thread about this topic.

His show is the kind of idiocy not needed in Ann Arbor (what kind idiocy is needed? I'm not sure, but not his kind).  He should be heckled mercilessly.  Signs like "Michigan: Where Your Material Comes From" (re: MZone spat) should be at the ready.  We have enough hacks in our local media.  I'm afriad if he and Drew Sharp cross paths they may form a Voltron like Super Hack and destroy all sensical opinion.

Just to clear up some questions people have, according to the countdown clock they will be broadcasting live at 4. So show up early for the warmup, and get on national TV!
