performed at near all conference level last year. Huge loss, for Spike personally and for the team. Hopefully this team pulls it together for him and he can at least still be a part of something fun. Go Blue. Turn the season around.

Spike Alllllllbrecht with the 3 pointerrrrrr!! Sucks that I won't get to hear that on TV/yell it loudly in my living room after Spike drains a 3 pointer at Crisler this winter. Thanks Spike for the memories!

Stroked a 3 the other night but he hasn't moved like the Spike we all know in some time. Definitely a fan favorite and always conducted himself professionally on and off the court.

Good luck Spike, you will be missed!

This is the spark the team needs.  There is no doubt every man in the lockerroom respects the heck of out Spike.

Need to re-dedicate, refocus, and play the rest of the season in his honor.

Spike is a winner and this TEAM will be winners.

Grateful that I picked up my daughter in Lexington KY and drove to the title game in Atlanta to personally witness that unvelievable first half.

One of my all-time great UM memories.

Godspeed.

Will someone please find / make a gif of Spike doing one of his infamous drives to the hoop where he just keeps going on the other end instead of taking the shot. That always killed me. He just frustrated so many defenders with his antics.

Or maybe just give me some alley-oops. I could live with that.

For all the highlights Spike has and all of his endearing traits, this is the one play that is burned into my memory.  A full speed, left handed, cross court bounce pass that is perfectly placed between defenders.  That's some serious skill.  Michigan basketball isn't as much fun without him.
