I just saw on facebook that Kareem Walker has been dismissed from the team for breaking team rules...like I said I saw it on facebook so I hope this is not true...

I think that's the point.  The MSU FB program works because Mork picks good coaches and players that fit in his system.  And he can motivate them.  He makes it all work.

Correct.  I wish people on this board would stop with the "regress back to the mean" or "fly on the windshield" nonsense.   They are who they are, and they're not going to suddenly become MSU from 2003.  This means we have to get better to start beating them.  That process is in now in motion, but appears to be more challenging than anyone realized.

Compared to Barnett. He was their most expendable coach. His one claim to fame was turning walk on Kenny Willekes into a solid defensive end but other than that, their special teams stunk under them, and their linebackers the year he coached them (2016) were a dumpster fire when he had his three best LB's healthy (Dowell, R. Bullough, Frey)

If there was one universally-reviled, “must fire” scapegoat after going 3-9, it was Snyder. People argued about whether the OC or DC should go, but there were zero spartan fans in Snyder’s camp 12 months ago. Just FYI.

Snyder wasn't a co-cordinator. Tressel and Barnett were co-DCs. Snyder coached linebackers and special teams in '16 and both were pretty bad.

Yes, Warner caught most of the heat; Barnett also got his share. People went back and forth on both of those guys. Snyder was the one case where pretty much every fan who cared to weigh in on staffing said "this guy needs to go."

Kareem Walker is still on the team and reports of his dismissal are inaccurate per a Michigan source.
