Something may be going down...
So STDs are a cunning runt obviously
I've been hitting the refresh button for the last 50 minutes.
I think this is what you were looking for.
Holy over-inflated thread title badman.
And how is this not OT?

it would make no sense for the alleged "major story" to be non-medical in nature... there is no reason whatsoever for the UMHS to be so concerned about its staff in relation to football or bands or Urban Meyer, so I'd bet the "rival" is a competing health system.
I wonder if the whole thing is fake, like somebody hacked Retyi's email account.
It was sent to the marketing department, not the staff. It seems to be that the leadership is expecting some story about OSU or MSU to break, and they do not want someone from marketing to run to Twitter and post something that could cause backlash. Even though it's UMHS, their social media accounts will still reflect on the school, and a comment, even if meant as snarky or funny, could easily come off as insensitive.
Would be curious if other marketing departments of the University and related entities received a similar email.
That sounds right. There are a few health systems in SE Michigan that are very close to insolvency. If one of them declares bankruptcy, the MarCom department at UMHS might be asked for comment.

I'm seeing rumors that another OSU player will be suspended 4 games for having a GPA less than 0.8, but I don't see why UMHS would know anything about that
0.8? Isn't that their honors program threshold?
Reminds me of the Andy Katzenmoyer days where he was a national punchline...and the right guys were dominating this rivalry.

My money is on Cardale "aint come to play school" Jones.
is that OSU has trademarked the name "Urban Meyer". To prevent a clothing line from being named after him. Kind of hilarious.
But I don't see the purpose in spreading them out. Especially with stories that they timed the relase of Bosa and the other three during media days so it was a one day story they could get it out there and move on.
You've been around long enough to know better.
Not even one person who has commented in this thread has provided even an ounce of good information or entertainment. And yes, I include myself now.

Their rivals are Beaumont, Mercy, and Sparrow not MSU or OSU. I doubt this has anything to do with sports.
OSU's hospital's marketing folks wrote term papers for the football players and three received failing grades, 2 were busted for plagarism and one traded a term paper for a tat.
Wouldn't be surprised if there's a big 'deviation from standards of care' story opening up at a B1G school based upon wording and timing.
