He is worse and at least RR's 3-8 year came in his first year without much talent. Hoke has just been regressing. If you had told me before this year that Michigan wouldn't play well, Hoke isn't a good coach, and he got fired at the end of the year, I would have believed you, but I never would have imagined we would be THIS bad.

Let's kick a 56 yard field goal in that situation with a kicker who's about as reliable as RAY FUCKING FINKLE IN THE SUPERBOWL!!!

Northwestern is the perfect example to use right now. They lost to Cal and NIU, looked terrible against Western Illinois. That team fought for their coach and they beat Wisconsin and Penn State.

Our team doesn't look like the care. There's no fight left because they don't believe in this coaching staff.

They are unwilling to play as a team. There is no chemistry or leadership. And it's not about naming captains because the coaches already knew there was no one worthy to be a captain. That is how lost and pathetic this team is.

Don't even care anymore. They're all done. It's just a matter of time before they're fired. They're taking a team full of HS talent and making it AWFUL.

This is worse than 2008. In 2008 it was a new offense with little talent around it. This is year 4 of Brady Hoke with plenty of talent and it looks awful.

There cannot be one person not being paid to do so or a part of the program that can support Hoke remain as coach after this season.  He is buffoon in pressers, he does no coaching during the game and obviously none during practice because the kids keep making the same mistakes and new ones each week.

What actual coaching does Hoke do?  Nuss does the offense, Mattison does the D and Hoke talks to the refs and claps.  Brandon is paying him $4M for that?  This program is a dumpster fire.

I feel bad for all the kids that are Juniors and Seniors...they were sold a bill of goods.  If they stay they will finish their college careers without knowing what winning and sucess feel like and they have zero chance of making it at the next level.

This staff is like is life-sucking disaster from which there is no escape.

I don't even know what to say anymore that hasn't been said a million times. This staff obviously has to go. We're awful at all 3 phases of football. Rutgers??? Did that really just happen?

Did 2011 even happen? And if so, how did it happen? Never fathomed a season worse than 3-9, or even 7-5 with the recruits Hoke, et. al have brought in to Michigan. Feel for Gardner and the seniors who began on a high, only to descend into a nadir that seems to deepen every week.

Guys looked out of shape, receivers either dropped balls or didn't attack the ball, Devin had some dreadful plays, and the D was a step behind all night. There was some energy and fight tonight. They just cannot physically manhandle the opposition and they cannot make plays at key points in the game. They just are not good enough.

I will stick with our football team through the ups and downs.  I always feel fortunate to be a Wolverine.

I supported giving Brady Hoke a chance this year.  But I will not forget him leaving Morris out there on the field, hurt and stumbling around.  That was one of the worst moments in sports.  Anytime.  Anywhere.

Brady Hoke did not attend the University of Michigan.  For those of us who did, we have every right, even an obligation to request--to insist--to demand that Brady Hoke leave Ann Arbor right now.

I said now, Brady.  Leave.  Go away.  Take schlockmeister DB with you, and let us pull things back together.  We will do okay.

OK, when people talk about coaching they usually just talk about in game calls or general strategy.  Well, the coaches are responsible for a lot more than that, they are responsible for technique and to some extent the consistency of our playmakers.  Our DBs got beaten all game long, the technique is horrible!  We are a poorly coached team in every possible way you can be a poorly coached team.  Poor strategy, poor coaching decisions, poor position coaches across the board, and you have to be poorly coached in practice to come out like this.

Well the one thing our coaches consistently do well that no one can argue is making average players on other teams look like NFL first rounders. You would have thought the Rutgers QB was Peyton Manning by the way the announcers were talking. He was also apparently throwing to Jerry Rice.

Michigan looked slow and appeared to have less talent than Rutgers. Yes, Rutgers. We all know the talent part isn't true so........

Yep, fire everyone, including Jackson and Mattison. No one gets a pass, UM is terrible in every category.

all those four and five stars on the field, yet there is NO ONE on the sidelines who knows what to do with them. trying not to think of what could be if we had real coaches instead of cartoon characters clapping on the sidelines.....

It is pretty clear what's gone on the last four years.

Hoke began with Rodriguez developed players and won big.  Then he brought in some of his own and we won small.  Year three, with a majority of his players, we lost small.  And now year four, with a roster comprised totally of Brady Hoke developed players, we're losing big.

This guy may be not only the worst coach in M history, but the worst coach in all of FBS this year.
