In its second quarter, Sirius XM said it added 587,000 net new subscribers to total more than 30.6 million subscribers, an 8% rise. Its number of subscribers who don't get Sirius's service as part of a promotion, described as self-paying subscribers, rose 507,000 to 25.1 million.

The company's self-pay churn rate, or the rate at which its subscribers left the service, rose to 1.8% from 1.6% a year ago. Its average revenue per user rose 3% to $12.78.

I'm glad it's them and that tool Chris Childers.  He is a Domer and spent all day yesterday stroking the Spartans and even said "What has Harbaugh won..."  Dude is insufferable and hates Michigan.

McElroy and Zarzour are really good and very objective.  I would bet McElroy will be a top analyst on TV in the near future.

I have quite a few things going on today but I will try to listen and report back on anything newsworthy.

Is there a dumber group of people than the "what has Harbaugh won" crowd? Uh, how about a shit load of games, and a NFC championship, which last I checked is better than any conference in college football. Andy Staples was laughing at these people on his podcast the other week.

Childers had a Spartan beat writer on yesterday talking about how this is going to be the best defense Dantonio has ever had and how O'Connor was the best qb he has ever seen in high school. They do have the majority of their tougher games at home but I just can't see them being better than last year.

This seems to be the prevailing thought but I'm not sure if I buy them losing any more than 3 unfortunately (potential lossess include ND, us, OSU). I just don't think the rest of the Big 10 is talented enough to make them pay for any of their issues. They have had a pretty good run at QB recently and tyler o'connor seemed fine in his limited time against OSU last year (at least good enough to not lose them that game). They will ride their running game until their passing game gets their bearings and I think their secondary (biggest weakness last year) will be improved.

I heard it  - it was Hondo Carpenter.  He actually sounds like a cool guy but his green glasses were on a bit tight yesterday.  He compared O'Connor to Drew Stanton and Donny Corley to Charles Rodgers.  He said all 4 RB's are NFL RB's.  They have some good ones but not sure all 4 are NFL caliber.  He also said he likes Harbaugh and doesn't hate Michigan - so I thought that was cool.

I'm not sure if it was Childers, but recently some douche on that channel was putting down Michigan's chances because, "Sure, they have plenty of receiving threats, BUT WHO'S GOING TO THROW TO THEM???"

Well, Mr, Expert, I guess simply because a starting QB has yet to be named, that can only logically mean that there will be no QB. Nobody will be throwing the ball. Excellent point.

I'll definitely tune in. One clarification for the OP is that that they were actually at practice yesterday, so all the interviews we hear at 1 were recorded yesterday. Regardless, worth a listen. They said they basically talked to all the coaches except Harbaugh.

Listen to their show all the time as one of the 3 sirius listeners as mentioned above. (Love sirius) They both love Harbaugh. So should be a good listen.

So McElroy won a NC as caretaker of Saban's offense.  Clearly, he wasn't a bad QB, but the question is open: Would he have played for Harbaugh (or even been recruitedby JMFH)?

I don't think so.

Nonetheless, congrats to him for finding a place where he can use his football knowledge and connections to succeed in a new role.  I haven't listened to him, but those that have are universally in his favor.  So he's got that going for him...
