SIAP Spring Game Time

Submitted by Walter Sobchak on

Sorry if already posted.  Ive done a little looking and didn't see anything, but my wife is trying to work out her work schedule for the Spring Game.  Does anyone know what time kickoff will be or what to expect?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It will be Saturday, April 11. Expect it to start between Noon and one. I know this because Battle at The Big House IV will be after the game. Michigan Lax vs OSU.

..or conversely, it is on MGoBlog, sometimes it has not been officially announced yet, but the information provided later turns out to be correct. We've seen that happen in the past as well. Of course, that's when duplicate threads tend to be a real pain to remove too as people try to beat the person who called it hours ago to the punch.

I've only figured out that the Spring Game is April 11th due to the 5k the day after and a lacrosse game that day at the Big House. Any further info will have to wait for an official announcement, but most likely noon-2pm at latest

I'm taking my 3 year old boy with me for his first visit to Michigan Stadium.  He's a tough kid though, so even if it snows we'll be fine.

/no-so-csb, my love for Michigan started during an elementary school field trip to watch the team practice.  Early 80's, we had the run of the place.  Got to go on the field, meet players, etc.  It was awesome.

Some extra things for that spring game, the start of the alumni flag football game and the tour of the new lockerrooms really made for a big turnout.  The line to see the lockerrooms was an hour long wait so I didn't bother.  But I really enjoyed the alumni game because they looked like they were having fun and they were doing a ton of trash talking.  Brandstatter saying over the speakers, "I think we need to see more of Michigan's All-American Quarterback Rick Leach!"  And Leach yelling back, "Give me a break, I'm 50 years old!"

I went to every spring game from 1998 to 2006 and then again in 2009 but I eventually stopped going because they got kind of boring.  Now that Harbaugh is here, I'm thinking I need to start going again.
