SI Article on How Jags can Utilize Denard

Really good read about the different ways the Jags can utilize Denard in their offense.
Without oversimplifying Robinson’s role in Jacksonville, that is what the Jaguars have to work with in their rookie: He’s about as raw as possible as a pass catcher (Robinson himself admitted at the combine that he has trouble finding the ball downfield) and he’ll force offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch to draw up plays where he is the primary target, but the payoff might be worth it because of how bad Robinson can make defenses look.
I think in the short term they should line him up primarily at RB so he can get comfortable with NFL speed and blocking. Hopefully his arm is fully healed because he could definitely moonlight at QB and make defenses pay if they don't respect his throwing ability. http://nfl.si.com/2013/05/29/jags-must-balance-denard-robinsons-athleti…

On screens and flare route out of the backfield. Get him in space to catch short passes and let him make plays. I don't think he's strong enough or experienced enough to be a downfield receiver.

I hate the scouting reports questioning his size. He's never been through an offseason training program, specifically in the weight room, for a non QB position. I'm not doubting his ability to learn to catch the ball smoothly and run efficient routes, but RB will be his best position. Hating on his size and ability to play RB baffles me.
