Should we root for OSU vs. Miami
I feel dirty even suggesting this, but the results of OSU winning are us playing Northern and then (maybe) the winner of OSU/Ferris. This seems like a much better scenario than playing Miami and then (maybe) getting the winner of Northern/Ferris.
Thoughts?
I thought Ferris was the 3 seed, so we'd get them. CCHA reseeds.
I don't hate OSU hockey nearly as much (it's hard to hate a historically shitty team) so I'm fine with rooting for OSU. Need to win the tournament, so get the easiest path.
If Miami wins we play them as we will be the lowest seed left (7). If OSU win they will have the lowest seed (8) and they will play Ferris State and we will get Northern Michigan.
Oh right. We were so bad all year I forgot that we're not the worst seed left. I'm dumb.
The teams into the semis are Ferris, Northern and then us, in that order. Miami wins, they are a one seed. OSU wins, they are a four seed. We can be either a three or four at this point.
I feel that we should always root for our own benefit. I look at it as cheering for Miami to lose, not OSU to win. Just my .02

Just making sure. I know people have been going crazy around here recently.
My brother went to Miami and even tried out for their hockey team and I rooted for the Redhawks in last year's tournament. GO REDHAWKS. I'm not rooting for OSU ever! What are you man sacreligious?

i bought tickets to the frozen four because I thought M was going to be there. there is no way I am rooting for Miami tomorrow, go OSU
So it's a question of do you root for the guy you hate, or the guy you really hate? It's a lose-lose. Root for the Buckeyes.

If OSU wins we would play Northern
If Miami wins we play Miami.
Which do you fear more? Keep in mind our regular season series with Northern down the stretch as our regualr season concluded.

I will NEVER cheer for Ohio State...no matter what sport, anything.
If Michigan is to win then they need to win against whatever team they play, fuck Ohio State.
