Has a hell of a heart for a walk on, but thank god he will never be our starter again.

Let's just applaud him for a legitimately good performance in Minneapolis to keep the Jug, and forget about the other games - he was never supposed to be out there in the first place. He got to live the dream of being a Michigan QB. Hopefully he hasn't taken too much abuse from fans.

You need to find and much wood to knock on as you can. We don't want a UCLA happening next year and then get stuck with him for the entire season.

got thrown to the wolves, but can you imagine being a qb following this season vs. trying to live up to the hype of like vince young?? Colt Mccoy played a pretty solid freshman year, but got eaten up by fans because he was no VY.

Nick Sheridan, a former walkon, was thrust into this role by pure circumstance. I am willing to bet that not even in his wildest imagination did he ever think that he would possibly be the starting quarterback in the Ohio State-Michigan game.

This was, in all likelihood, the last action he will see in a game. What I'll remember about him, however, is getting back up and running and playing as hard as he could despite getting destroyed again and again by Laurinaitis et al. That's courage, plain and simple.

He was the starting quarterback for Michigan at the 'Shoe. Not only that but there was even a moment early in the third quarter, despite all the improbability, when it seemed that Michigan could tie the game at 14-14. By virtue of those two facts he has accomplished more than virtually any of us could claim when we were his age.

Sheridan took some big hits today and popped up every time. He's a tough kid.

He did go out for a bit when it looked like he twisted his ankle or something, but that wasn't due to any of the hard hits he took.

Speaking of hard hits, it looked like McGuffie might have got another concussion.
