Seth Curry Transferring out of Liberty

Submitted by mrider on
Seth Curry is looking to play in a bigger conference. Hopefully Michigan could somehow get lucky and get this kid, because he is perfect for our system. He is deadly from beyond like his brother and dad, and lead freshman in scoring this year with a 20.2 average. I presume he would take a year off, but hopefully he somehow comes to Michigan. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/24/AR20090…

Seth Curry would turn into Jesus Shuttlesworth in this offence. Him and Darius Morris in the backcourt with Tre Zigler on the wing (fingers crossed!) sounds like at least an Elite 8 team. I love the fact that its almost April and were still talking about Michigan Basketball in a positive light. This is the life!

If he mentions us, then let's get excited, but there are still 72 other BCS conference teams alone, plus any teams in a conference that he considers better than the Big South (I don't know how those conferences rank). That being said, he would be a good fit. And lord knows I would not mind Mrs. Curry making it out to the games.

I think the Hokies have way more talent than people think. They had the best trio of sophomores in the country this season. If they all stay through the senior years, the additional scoring they would get from Little Curry would be amazing. They would be a factor in the ACC. But, how about the last couple of seasons? A program that each of the last two seasons was one or two wins short of the Tournament......I wonder where they would be had they given Steph a shot....or even if they had Little Curry as a frosh this season. As a semi-Hokie fan (family reasons), it's a depressing story of what if?
