Semi OT- Texas' very classy gesture to Wyoming
I didn't see this posted anywhere else(7 Pages back is all I went). Some of you may or may not have heard, but Wyoming lost a freshman linebacker to a car accident. The following link spells out what will happen when Texas and Wyoming play each other.
Edit: it would help to actually add the link.

I thought this was going to be a sarcastic gesture and bad story. Glad to see I was wrong.

same here. I guess sometimes I need to check my prejudice towards the Long Horns.

For a second there I was worried you were being sarcastic when I read your thread title. Glad it's not the case.
I'm a UT grad student and that will be my first game down here, but I hadn't heard anything about it yet. Thanks for the info!

Anyone who was at the 2005 Rose Bowl knows that Texas has amazing, classy fans and a great program. They are probably my favorite other big time team.

That is still my favorite game because of how much fun Texas fans were to tailgate with.

Texas is my favortite other fanbase, tied with Nebraska...so...two favorites.

Mack Brown and the Texas program is full of class and honor. Great gesture here by the Longhorns and a sad day for the Wyoming kids. Losing a teammate is a terrible experience that will take these players a while to recover from. RIP to the young linebacker that had a lot of potential and a full life ahead of him. A tragedy indeed.

I'll be there Saturday in Austin to see it. Should be a nice gesture.
