SEC turmoil
The top high school recruit from the state of Alabama committed to a school outside his home state, which I have to imagine is not pleasing to Bama fans.
Not especially noteworthy for us, but anything that takes the Ride down a notch and creates more parity, I'm all for...

Turmoil may be a bit of an exaggeration.

Meh. Jameis Winston was from Alabama and neither Bama nor Auburn really went after him. They get who they want, no matter how much it costs.

Where in the world did you get that Bama or Auburn didn’t go after him? Just bc he picked another school doesn’t mean Bama/Auburn let him leave willingly. Even though we might think otherwise, they lose battles sometimes too.

Because they ran different offenses and picked up pro style qbs in those classes. Naturally they offered him, but they offered every other kid in the country, too.

This is a non-story. Alabama has the #1 class with the highest average rating. They’re not going to get the number one player in their state every year. That’s just how recruiting goes.

If Alabama wanted him they would’ve gotten him. If the kid left the state, much less chose not to go to Bama, it was because Bama essentially told the kid they didn’t want him.

I went to the movies last night and it wasn't until I sat down that I realized the popcorn wasn't adequately salted. It was too late to go back to the concession stand.
I was going to post about this experience with the title "Entertainment Industry Turmoil."

Maybe he looked at the latest hire and decided he didn't want to be another statistic.

I'm in favor of stricter moderation of this site with posts being nuked and Bolivia becoming in vogue again...

With all of the turmoil going on in the SEC maybe we need another conference realignment thread. It's been a few hours since anyone's brought it up.

Oh my god, they’ll have to make due with a class that has 23 of the 24 commits being 4 and 5 stars. This is one of the dumbest posts of all time.
