Scouting Colorado
I'm starting to get a little worried that the fans (not the team or coaches) are taking the Buff's too lightly. Not that it really matters what the fans think, except for the quality of discourse in the game threads and liveblog.
I've only watched the Colorado v. CSU game so far, but they look like an honest to goodness P5 team. Their QB is a senior that has a lot of experience and was good at making his reads. They run a spread tempo, and I hate playing tempo teams (too much trauma from the Carr/Hoke days).
We'll probably dominate on both lines, but they've got a lot of good players.
Both of their #4's look like solid athletes. #4 on Defense has good ball instincts and breaks on the ball well. #4 on Offense is a good blocking WR in addition to being a deep threat. I am very worried about him blocking Clark who had a bad day getting off blocks against UCF.
I still think we'll win the game, but I'm considering taking the points. (hope I'm wrong)
What do you guys think? Anyone watch both of their games yet?

Who gives a fuck what the fans take seriously or not. It has 0.0% relevance on the outcome of the game.
I worry that the $6.00 hot dogs served at the concession stands won't be tasty enough for us to earn the coveted "3 Star" rating from Yelp.
We all have worries.

I worry they will fall. That's practically inevitable
Step back from the edge, son!

and then some! Take it to the bank. We will have scored 4 TDs before the buffs know what hit them. They haven't faced anything close to what we will bring.

Been a long time. Almost takes me back to the days of Bo where we were almost always favored. Hoping it won't be too long before that entire feeling returns. We got some work to do, but just nice beating the hell out of teams we are supposed to. Good start. Rest will come.

The non-conference schedule is fantastic for UM. Get the freshman opportunities to view how the spread is run in college early, and everyone a chance to learn how Brown approaches defending it. Do it now, early. Work out the kinks and get ready for Indiana and OSU with little to no risk of a loss. Blow a coverage, they score, and fine. You work on it during the week, and let our offense pummel their crappy defense to cover for the mistake.
I for one am very excited with how this season is shaping up. After just two weeks, the teams that pose a real threat are Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, and OSU. Yes, disrespekt to MSU, but they are garbage. Of those, only Indiana and OSU's spread offenses match up favorably against our defense. Iowa and Wisconsin want to trade punches, which I would suggest favors us.
So get these games in against UCF and CU... get a feel for what you might see against Indiana and OSU. Things are shaping up very, very well for UM to make the playoff.

and people here just don't want to believe this but Colorado is a good football team, they are probably better then Penn State. People just look at the last few years and figure well they sucked then so they will always suck.
Coach Mac is doing a good job there and is in his 4th season. His starters are all pretty much Juniors and Seniors and have all been growing and improving together. They have some decent talent on both sides of the ball and Leavitt is a very good DC. This is not going to be an easy game. CU in the last couple of years have lost heart break games to the likes of Oregon, Utah, UCLA all games they should've won, but lost at the end of the game because of a bad turnover.
They have come out this year and blown out two, not very good teams, much like we have done so it's still hard to tell how good either team is going to be. But, you can't just look at Colorado and say well they sucked last year, so they will again this year. Teams do improve and their improvements have been slow and steady the last couple of years. They will make a bowl game this year and I hope we are healthy and ready to play this week, because this is our first test of the season.
I expect UM to win, but anyone thinking we are going to just blow them out are going to be in for a surprise.

Harbaugh uses 100% of his brain 100% of the time which requires 100% oxygen flow. This is Harbaugh insuring optimal perfornance after all he is the $7 million dollar man.

You are the one in the middle aren't you. You seem like the kind of person who would wear a wolverine helmet half luchador mask with team logo glasses.
I sense much upsetness. Much unwelcoming. You could learn from your friends around here how to engage in friendly banter.

I don't mind having other teams fans visit ... alot of time they share some good insights. Nothing wrong with this guy rooting for his team and some of thes stuff he posted I found interesting. Let's not be like that forum for the team a bit north of A2.

Ya same here.
We get to take on the quacks at whoregon and you all get to take on Pedo State. Neither of those sound nearly as fun.

This depth chart was epic well done! Wonder how much time the author spent on this thing?

It was produced by our Sports Information Department. Our S.I. Director is also a professor. One of his students or TA's probably did it.
