It’s only 500 miles from Lincoln to an interesting part of the country (sorry Omaha and Des Moines). It is also a lot more sunny there. If you hate people there are counties with less than five people per square mile within a 20 minute drive of Lincoln as well.

I also could be wrong on the nothing interesting within 500 miles claim. If you head a couple hours West on I80 you run into this across the freeway near Kearney http://archway.org/

It is interesting in a what the hell is this doing here kind of way.

Frost has a big mouth and a "what about me complex". So he thinks they outhit Michigan? 51-14 baby...read it and weep.

Central Florida was a cute story this year but they will fade back to anonymity quickly....

way to deal with peeps poppin' off in the media is to go beat them on the field.  Frost seems intent on making his public position right up there next to Corntonio.

I guess its good to get a few headlines when you're a new head coach in a new location so recruits at least know who you are 8-)  Its going to be a trick to get some of those Central Florida recruits to come to Lincoln and play for 4 years.

Maybe we should unleash rabid Devin Bush on them in the fall...

Harbaugh's response should be:

We are proud to have #NFLPlayoff weather in Ann Arbor.  #Patriots #Steelers#Eagles, etc.

Something Scott Frost would know nothing about with his 12 career #NFL tackles in 7 years.

Ann Arbor or Lincoln. Hmmm. Get out of here. Good luck with Wisconsin there buddy. Last time we saw you the score was a lot to a little Scott. I see Jim taking Scott’s lunch every time we meet

Don’t worry, UCF has a championship parade through Disney World today. I wish I was kidding, but they really believe they are national champions. Scott Frost seems more like a snake oil salesman than a football coach.

but only because that's where the zombies are amassing before the final apocolyptic march on humanity.  and everyone has hepatitis.  twice.

(st3, you have really grown into this recruiting job.  major kudos to you)

back in '86 a buddy of mine was getting out of the Navy and flew me to Reno to help him drive his car back to Michigan.

We drove mostly on the I-80 and one early morning while it was still dark, we were still in Wyoming and I had to take a shit and made my bud stop while I ran into the woods and did the deed, many hours later as we were driving through ultra-boring Nebraska, my buddy looked at me and said "hey Mick, you should have shit on Nebraska"

I agreed with him!!!

"There's no reason kids should want to go to Ann Arbor and not Lincoln. It's colder there," Frost told reporters.

Typically speaking, that's not true, and beside, we're far better at outhitting the weather here.

That, and at least Ann Arbor has access to a major metropolitan area. Lincoln has corn....maybe some wheat here and there. Mostly corn though.

I went to college in Ann Arbor and took a job for one year in Nebraska and traveled frequently to Lincoln. To even compare the two is laughable. The ONE college town that I would say rivals Ann Arbor is Madison, that is a nice place and the lakes add a unique setting but we all know which college town reigns over the B1G SCOTT.

next year for Michigan.  In addition to AT Notre Dame, AT Michigan State, and AT Ohio State, their non-division opponents include Nebraska, AT Northwestern, and Wisconsin.  Michigan may have trouble making a bowl game based on their bowl performance.

Frost may get a bigger bump in recruiting than Harbaugh did when he took over 2015. I thought we would get a lot of the late kids who decided but we ended up not doing well with the 2015 class. I don't count the 2015 class as Harbuagh's first class anyways. But Frost may end up doing well raising NE 2018 class.

Out there claiming to win championships he didn't win, making up facts about weather...

I have a feeling this guy is going to catapult to the top of the list as far as most annoying B1G head coaches once he's out there on the sidelines in Lincoln.

Can you imagine a more loathesome crew than the group we'll have out there in the conference next year? Fleck, Dantonio, Meyer, Frost, Fitz, Franklin... These freaking guys.
