Rodriguez is probably better - but I think at the end of the season losses to Fresno St. and North Carolina aren't gonna look that bad. Butch Davis is good, UNC will be good, and Fresno is usually a very solid team.

Had Butch Davis not taken the UNC job the previous year, he would've been near the top of my wish list as a candidate to replace Lloyd Carr. The "U" was a mess when he took over and he was able to clean that program up and bring them back to elite status rather quickly. He also did a good job of shedding the "thug" image that the program had, only to see that resurface to some degree under Coker.

They were supposed to be the #1 or 2 team in the division, and are looking for a new stadium.

This loss means that an 0-2 Rutgers will lose the attention of a lot of Jersey fans that are not really college football fans (now that the Jets and Giants are doing well) so people will stop caring about Rutgers.
