In case anyone was curious, Indiana has the 81st best pass defense in Division I football thus far this year, giving up some 250 yards or so a game on average. If it is looking bad, that's only because it sort of is.

Dantonio in love with his gadget plays but overall nice drive, took a lot of time off clock. IU no pressure on QB entire drive.

Ekeler is a co-defensive coordinator (Nebraska alum). You'd think Indiana would eventually improve on defense.

Yep - you can scheme offense to compensate for athleticism but not defense. Northwestern has the same issue although they obviously have better athletes than Indiana on D.

So, Michigan State connects in the same situation that Indiana found itself in minutes ago - 3rd down, everyone spills towards the line leaving no one near a receiver, almost too easy. If not for some mental mistakes and better execution, Indiana might have 21 right now.
