I almost went back to edit the title so "sigh" isn't hanging off the column over there on the MGoBoard.

But then I realized, this is a Happy Thread. No need. Derrick Green has committed, my MGoBloggers are rejoicing. Many are preparing to indulge in a cold beverage...tonight Michigan fans everywhere are smiling. Sigh over the column or not. We win tonight. We all win.

I have that and some fat tire just sitting in my fridge calling my name.  I bought the Hopslam last week in preparation of being off antibiotics after recovering from pneumonia and the surgery needed to clear the infection out.  Of course, they extended the antiobiotics two more weeks and I am left staring at it each day.  I have never had Hopslam and cannot wait to try it.  Drink up and enjoy.

Korea, 9:28am Sunday morning.  Working on my 2nd to last grad paper, drinking coffee.

Daydreaming about drinking one of Northern Michigan's fantastic microbrewed hard ciders... Tandem's Smackintosh?  Yeah, that would be about perfect right now.

Crown Black w/ ice.  Strictly for medicinal purposes - been dealing with snow all day. Soaked to the skin the last hour, and this here glass greeted me as I got out of the shower.

I have a great wife.

I drank a lot today.  I've been drinking a variety of New Belgium beers.  I've had some Fat Tire, Ranger, and Trippel.  I started too early and am fading.

In celebration of the Green commitment, I fired up the grill and we had steaks for everyone, along with baked potatoes and mixed vegetables. A great moment deserves a great dinner, after all.

For now, I am working on some Boddington's Pub Ale while settling in for a nice evening of hoops as well as still smiling about Green going Blue, if you will.

Drink some more and be optimistic. I'll drink with you.

No evidence whatsoever except for gut feeling, I think Poggi stays Blue. I think yesterday was a ridiculous overreaction.

Regardless of what you believe, it doesn't matter, we got Green today and our class is looking awesome. The WR's will come next year once they see the scheme Hoke and co. really plan for Mich. next year and for the future.

Cheers mate :)
