Saturday's Weather Forecast
65 Degrees. Partial Sun. Winds @ 16 mph, gusting to 42 mph. Definitely cooler than in years past for an opener. But thankfully it'll be dry and pleasant.

Good thing we'll be scoring a bunch of TD's and not kicking field goals.

I'm guessing 6-7 XP's :) for Mich. Zilch for UConn. Their white spandex pants will be all soiled and brown when they shit their pants walking into a stadium of 110k. There will also be shades of green on their pants too from the grass after Denard breaks their ankles and has them fall to the ground. Now I just shat my pants getting excited for Saturday. I can't believe it's finally here. It's the most wonderful time of the year...

just let the image resonate, whether fact or fiction

they have lightly slathered every blade of grass with a delicious roux of green food coloring and sugar this year. Broad columns of ants are even now marching across lower Michigan's prairies to join in the feast which--word has it--will include HUMAN sacrifice. Our Meeechigan boy-os, meanwhile, have been issued special new head-to-toe Adidas bug repellent gear. Word is that apart form the pith helmets and mesh to be worn by QBs, the basic Michigan design will remain unchanged. (Traditional fans breath collective sigh of relief.)

how many weather threads do we need?
September 2nd, 2010 at 9:40 AM ^
But to be fair to the OP, the forecast has changed daily. Slightly. We'll probably see another post about it tomorrow, then Saturday morning.

Had something about it being grey and windy. This is slightly better as there will be some sun, and HAHA and Dee Hart will feel at home in a rocking atmosphere and commit to Mich after a blistering victory for big blue.

The current forecasts seem to vary quite a bit. Weather Channel says party cloudy and windy with a 20% chance of rain, while the Natl. Weather Service says mostly cloudy and breezy with a chance of sprinkles in the afternoon. So I wouldn't rule out the chance of rain just yet.

I'm guessing there is plenty of time for at least a dozen more.

Weathered Dreads-

Denard would be faster if he shaved his head - more aerodynamic?
September 2nd, 2010 at 11:27 AM ^
Yes, typically helmets are worn under your hair.
September 2nd, 2010 at 9:55 AM ^
Probably not as big a factor at game time as it will be in the morning as the front moves off the east coast.

I'm alright with all the weather threads since it's Michigan and the weather forcase changes almost daily. The other threads were pretty premature. I was hoping it would be a little warmer, but as long as it's dry, I don't mind.

But why? Mid-60s is practically perfect football weather. Warmer temps may be more pleasant for some fans, but that's not the primary concern here.

Our corners play out of position.
But the wind throws the ball off course.
