Gut feeling?? I'll miss those!
GO BLUE!!

He said he will still use gut feelings and that hey will convey his highest level of certainty, but that CBs wouldn't be issued frivolously. Aka it's happening
December 5th, 2017 at 11:24 PM ^
This reminds me of when Russell Wilson transferred to Wisconsin and made them instant-contenders.
Shea plays like Wilson too.
Exciting stuff!

If we had their OL, i would agree with you
December 6th, 2017 at 12:16 AM ^
Well, IF all this happens & Patterson nabs the starting job over Peters, at least the QB/Center exchange should go smoothly.
Ruiz was Patterson's center at IMG Academy.

"Ruiz was Patterson's center at IMG Academy."
That's actually pretty sweet. Thanks for that information.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:57 PM ^
This guy wolverines.
December 6th, 2017 at 6:41 AM ^
I mean, Bredeson, Ruiz, and Onwenu are dudes. Spanellis maybe good enough to push Bredeson to tackle, then you need one of JBB, Newsome, Filiaga, Stueber, Hudson or Hoenigford to hit... Not that unthubkable
December 6th, 2017 at 7:19 AM ^
A point of order - Newsome is 100% a dude, whether he sees the field again or not!
That aside, I agree that a better-than-serviceable OL is a real possibility as soon as next season.
December 6th, 2017 at 7:33 AM ^
Would surprise me if he was not back with Coach Mattison group by the spring.
December 6th, 2017 at 8:19 AM ^
Information? Or a hunch? I mean, sure, it could happen, but he came in as a possibility on either line and they put him on OL just a few months ago.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:15 AM ^
Probably based on the fact Michigan has ZERO DT's committed as of now. Our deepest position for the last 3 years is becoming thin. I'd welcome him back to the defense.
December 6th, 2017 at 10:03 AM ^
We seem to be the favorite to land Friday. Solomon looks poised to start the rest of his career. And we only lose Hurst this year. It’s not really thinning out...
December 6th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
TGIF.
Upshaw, is a SDE / 3Tech as well.
December 6th, 2017 at 8:14 PM ^
We've also got 3-techs coming off redshirts next year.
December 6th, 2017 at 10:10 AM ^
It sounds like the staff really likes him on the OL. It will be interesting to see if DL depth necessitates a move back to DT.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:22 AM ^
could be as good as anyones in college football. JBB is already a damn good run blocker, if he can make some improvement in pass pro he could be a decent right tackle. Then out of all the guys you mentioned we just need one to step up and be a good LT and we should see a much better OL next year.

Based on future NFL earnings that might have been the greatest CFB line of all time. Current contracts:
- Wagner $47.5 million
- Frederick $56.4 million
- Zeitler $60 million
I don't know if it's the record but $31 million/year for one college line is a lot.
Peter Konz tore an ACL after signing a $3.5 million contract; I think he's in law school now. Josh Oglesby had a QC job at Oregon State; they still list him but I don't know if that job will survive the coaching change there.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:46 AM ^
Buckle up BigTen, it is going to be a rougher road for you!
December 6th, 2017 at 6:19 AM ^
Except Wisconsin had a great OL and a record breaking RB to go along with him.
We don’t.
December 6th, 2017 at 8:01 AM ^
I wouldn’t sleep on our running backs.
December 5th, 2017 at 10:32 PM ^
God almighty damn
December 5th, 2017 at 10:32 PM ^
But unless the OL play improves drastically he will be running for his life.
December 5th, 2017 at 10:33 PM ^
Well he's really good at doing just that.
December 5th, 2017 at 11:23 PM ^
Seriously. Dude Throws on the Move better than I Shit Sitting Down
December 5th, 2017 at 11:27 PM ^
Name checks out.

Bro, get a squatty potty. It positions your legs and body in a natural bowel birthing position. You’ll be taking primo dumps that feel calm and natural
December 5th, 2017 at 11:59 PM ^
The MGoBlog difference! How does it compare to a cooler???
/asking for a buckeye
December 6th, 2017 at 12:12 AM ^
I was implying that Shea don't need no clean pocket to get off an accurate throw. Just like I don't need no Unicorn Stool for my Stools
December 6th, 2017 at 12:25 AM ^
Having a Squatty potty is like having a good offensive line. Clean pocket = clean cheeks. Less TP means more TDs
December 6th, 2017 at 12:44 AM ^
having a squatty potty does not guarantee clean cheeks. TRUST ME
December 6th, 2017 at 1:36 AM ^
Cuz it looks like you got a lil something there on your right butt cheek....
December 6th, 2017 at 2:14 AM ^
I imagined Prince saying this and had a nice laugh. Because I could totally imagine Prince saying this! He died too soon...
December 6th, 2017 at 1:37 AM ^
Sorry y’all!

Google Pixel XL by chance?
Mine is super glitchy

It's the sweet one
December 6th, 2017 at 6:11 AM ^
subthread, that we could flush it from our collective minds. but still we will have pieces of it swirling in our heads, unable to finally pass it out of existence. it is a septic situation....
December 6th, 2017 at 8:07 AM ^
This may be the best comparison I've ever heard. Thank you for making my day.
December 6th, 2017 at 8:16 AM ^
and load it up with high fiber fruits and veggies. You won't even need a toilet to have award-winning dumps.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:06 AM ^
You can take your wizard "blender" and geeeeeet ouuuuuut!
Back in my day, we mashed our fruit with hammers... and we liked it that way!
December 6th, 2017 at 8:42 AM ^
I remember when TP was a result of TDs... I miss those days, when are they coming back?
December 6th, 2017 at 9:04 AM ^
because I have to come to Mgoblog to have things broken down into analogies that I can understand. Between Seth's neck sharpies, Brian's game breakdowns, and Yabadabablue's excellent comparison between pooping and QBing, I am a much better informed fan.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:09 AM ^
If it isn't pro-SEC then ESPN won't report on it.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:10 AM ^
Tee shirt opportunity.
TD>TP
December 6th, 2017 at 7:38 AM ^
As I just finished cleaning my keyboard from the coffee that I sprayed all over it. Haha!
December 6th, 2017 at 8:52 AM ^
How well does he throw sitting down compared to... Errr... Nevermind...
December 6th, 2017 at 12:48 PM ^
as opposed to . . . . ?
December 5th, 2017 at 11:38 PM ^
Hoping for the best, but I just spent 20 minutes watching Patterson running for his life against Cal and it didn't turn out great.
