to Miles without doing his due diligence in getting Harbaugh than he's a moron.  Miles wouldn't be the worst hire, but I'm sick of ADs limiting their head coaching scope to a few or one guy, especially when there's a better option out there.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel once Hackett delivers the news to Hoke that he is fired, Hoke stands up and claps and tells him how great he was at executing that termination? I guess I can dream!

Good. Now the "WHATS TAKING SO LONG" crowd can move on to their next complaint which I suspect will be "WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG" followed by "WHO SCREWED UP THE HARBAUGH HIRE"

You know, I will be one of the first to say that I hope we are about to witness change, but there is a part of me that reads virtually every thread in the event it needs to go that is almost dreading the modding part of my job here tomorrow either way. In one scenario, too much jubilation (which is not in itself bad, but when it starts causing 502 and 504 timeouts for thousands of bloggers...), and in th other, dear god....

while understandable is a bit unseemly. Brady Hoke did not intend to fail here. He did not intend for this program to sink as low as it did. He tried and failed. There is nothing to celebrate if he loses his job. It is merely the first step in a series of steps the program needs to take to get back where it needs to be.

I don't think it "sunk". That would infer heights attained. Joke got lucky the first year and probably did his best coaching of his career, but he did not reestablish a dominant program.

Under home after that one year, the program floated aimlessly in mediocrity after a quite embarrassing low point in the rr era. Unacceptable but could have been worse.

Time to move on.

If Harbaugh decides to stay in the NFL and we go hire Les Miles, is it possible for any LSU players to transfer to Michigan? If they do are they immediately eligible or must they sit out a year? Lastly, how would this affect any of the LSU recruits? Could we see any of them waiver over to a Michigan commit.

Color me dickish...but I feel bad for Brady. Great guy. Cares about the kids. Failed at his dream job. Just wasn't in the cards I guess.
