across the country. Most of them are probably pretty minor, but smashed fingers would hardly be unexpected, esp. with the amount of weight being hoisted around. * been trying to post comments at the Oatbran of online news, so far without success. First-rate blog, though.

ummm. Easily. This is not news to Michigan, for two reasons - C. Brown (see above) and we really should not care what Mallet does, did, or will do, unless we at some point play Arkansas. Mallet = does not apply to Michigan.

this is true (trust me, I'm a doctor): when you jam your finger (head-on) as would happen when you catch a ball with your finger extended, this can cause an injury to the tendon that extends the tip of your finger. this problem is called a Mallet finger just saying, it would be ironic.

I know he didn't hurt his finger tucking the ball in. Every time he scrambled, Christ, holding it all out there to be swiped. Back and forth with each stride. Yelling at the tv "Tuck it in you stupid !*$$!!!

Arkansas strength and conditioning focuses mainly on the extremities of the body. fingers/toes, also ears, chin, and cankles. so i've heard.
