This is amazing. These few jack asses have now made me hate Rutgers. However I should be thanking them, it's hard to care about such an irrelevant school and football team.

It is kinda nice to have Rutgers on the schedule for a win 9/10 times. They're not much better than a decent Mac team most years but that's all you need to make the playoff.

These clowns from Rutgers think wayyyy too highly of themselves. This article made me go from not giving 2 shits about Rutgers to giving about half a dingleberry. Let's destroy these delusional fist-pumping Jersey trolls.

"You ever play a video game where you have a mirror match and you have to play a character with the same performance characteristics, abilities and equipment as you? I think that's what RU-MSU is going to be."

The lack of coffee in me at the moment didn't see what has to be a joke (otherwise I would be asking for some of what they were inhaling) at first, leading me to initially blurt out, "Well, if you mean one of Bobby Williams' teams, then perhaps, but it isn't a good analog even then in some ways..."

is a complete and utter disgrace. Why Delaney ever chose them is beyond me when there are much better options in Syracuse and Pitt. Also, after all of their PR debacle's recently, should they be hating anyone that isn't in their own administration?

I feel like these guys are the type that would go to a racetrack full of European sports cars in an 80's Camaro and then act like everyone else is out of place.

Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Minnesota are just as bad in sports and also are crappy schools. I don't understand the hatred of Rutgers. Yes their sports teams are bad, but the school itself is average, but it's better than the bottom half of the B1G.

I think people in the Midwest overestimate the caliber of B1G schools.

I don't get their arrogance... They play in the American Conference ferGodsakes. Let's look at their teams records last year shall we? Basketball: M (7th place 12-21) W (4th place 28-9) Soccer: M (8th place 7-11-2) W (3rd place 5-3-1) Baseball: M (7th place 12-21) Softball: W (5th place 28-19) Volleyball: W (10th place 5-27) Hockey: Don't play Track: The conference apparently doesn't track standings Rutgers has NOTHING to be proud of recently, athletically speaking. It does seem their biggest complaint is that MSU stole a line from their Alma Mater. That's a good enough reason for a rivalry. I do agree with their comment that most of us assume Rutgers was selected for the B1G because of their proximity to NYC. Of course they were? Why else would we?

There's funny hate pieces, and then there's delusional bullshit. This is vanilla-flavored trolling and nothing more.

Northwestern as a "peer school" for Rutgers academically? Dude, Northwestern isn't just out of your league. You're not even playing the same sport. And good job making fun of their football team that will probably destroy you in the first match.

The Gerald Ford crack leads me to believe that these dipshits are recovering from severe head injuries.

There seems to be a problem today - there is an inordinate amount of double and triple posting. I can only get the comment box to appear if I select "plain text editor".

They are recruiting better than all but 4-5 other schools in conference (or were before they suffered a bunch of defections). They'll never recruit better than Michigan, Ohio, and PSU but they've got enough talent in their backyard that they can beat out most of the rest of the conference. Being a 7-8 win team consistently is reachable with a decent coach.

For basketball, I think they underestimate how good the Big Ten is. They seem to think it'll be a bit easier in the Big Ten but it's going to be basically as tough as the old Big East. They'll be doormats most years
