Michigan is outscoring teams 188-63 in the 2nd half. And 30 of those points that the other team has scored have come in garbage time. They're definitely a 2nd-half team this year.

personally...with a B1G and plausible national title hunt ahead, with McCaffrey out, and assuming he is going to start once Shea moves forward...does it matter if Milton redshirts this season when we MAY need him...or next year, or the year after to take over when McCaffery is done? Realistically...if, and I'd assume so, IF he needs to play at some point, I'd rather he take a few snaps, feel the game speed now, JUST IF...and pray it was a waste of time. He's clearly not ready right now, and using him early in the season seems cruel. I am sure he will develop, all the praise is quite positive.

I will say, I will give Rutgers credit for pulling out the "Let's Get Weird" portion of the playbook, but we seemed to adjust nicely to it and, by the end of the game, it was pretty dominant again. The coaches did a decent job of refining the gameplan as it was unfolding, I though.

agreed...if he can be a part of four games, with nothing etched in stone after OSU, why not use it now? I don't think they expected him to orchestrate a 12 play drive. Something about the nerves and taking a few hits in a game helps shake those fears later...well, assuming your head coach isn't on the sideline clapping his ass off and having no clue what a concussion looks like

You know he took a sack right? As in, the coaches called a pass on the only 3rd down of the drive, which is the only time you are going to throw in that situation.

He will not lose his redshirt because of this unless both Patterson and Peter's goes down a d if that happens the season is ruined. So,  if tgat happens you should be pissed about the seasonsgoing down because the top 3 QBs got hurt again.
