Chicago Simeon QB/Ath Robert Gregory commited to Arkansas tonight. With Diamonds mom saying how much she loved the vist to pig country could this signal something??

Armagedon? Maybe

Arkansas gained another recruit? Probably

Also you all do realize he is best friends with Chris Bryant who is at Michigan. Tell me how many package deals actually happen? Diamond will not go to Arkansas.

I am only 30 but I still find Twitter and Facebook to be incredibly lame. Sometimes when you eat a sandwich you should just leave it at that. I don't give a shit where you were at and how it tasted. Facebook, well if you were that good of a friend I would probably call you. Being that I don't have you as a contact, I sure as hell don't want to be your friend on the computer. I barely have enough time for the real people in my life, let alone fake ones.

This is probably one of the best summaries of Twitter and Facebook I have ever read.  The only thing I would add is that, if anything, Twitter and Facebook take valuable time away from MGoBlog.  Stop wasting time, people!  (Except for those that use Twitter to track recruiting and report to the MGoCommunity - you all can keep on keeping on.)

Its one thing to advertise on the Board.  Its another thing to advertise something stupid.  Jobs are important, but its probably better to not put "professionals" in quotes if you're looking to get good candidates that aren't offended by your stupidity.

Or because our OL would be so ridiculous? Because i would think it's the latter, but, isn't our OL ridiculous enough to help hiim want to come here? Especially with osu's current situation

(don't get me wrong, i want Dunn, just wondering if you know about Dunn being tight with the Banner/Garnett duo or something)

i find it refreshing that even if this is signaling diamond to the hogs we arent freaking out like we were last year when frost committed auburn or dee hart decommitted, i love that i dont have to take beta blockers and xanax when it comes to recruiting anymore

Last year the situation was entirely different. I am not defending the meltdowns, but the reason to be worried was valid. When Frost started looking elsewhere and Hart decommitted our class was looking pretty grim. At oline this year, we are already stacked and any additions will be a bonus. That wasn't the situation last year when all that went down.

Not worried about it. Whoever we get whether it's Diamond, Banner or Garnett is going to be a great player. I know we'll have someone great to fill that last spot.

Word on Rivals mainboard is that Gregory had grade problems and may not qualify, that being said if Diamond wants to go to pig country more power to him

I think Robert Gregory was our very last QB choice, and now that he is gone, there is not one guy out there to occupy that position, even if we wished. I am sure it might play a role in if Diamond will eventually go there, but his mom already loves it, so it doesn't really matter. We're still in for some other great OT's with Banner and Garnett. That would be nice pacakge.

though things are looking less and less likely that is going to happen.  If he really wanted to be here he would have committed already.  I think he's going to be a good OL but I have the feeling he might night like all the competition he would have.  I also think we have a great shot with Garnett and Banner.  I think we take two more OL's this class.

I've gotta believe that he may view Michigan > Arkansas, but who knows.  I guess the frustrating thing is that Gregory comitted so early while Diamond was encouraged to wait by his coaching staff.
