Maybe they're afraid to publish the Michigan story for fear of it being outdated.

Enjoy the big weekend. Don't look for things to be pissed about.

To be concerned about media coverage and "who did better" is awfully petty. And really, Hoke has consistently said, "who cares." I'd much rather have less coverage or no coverage, and let the play on the field make clear the quality of the guys coming to Michigan.

Chill out, and just be happy. Hockey wins, Basketball win vs. Ohio, 8 4-star recruits, plus Shane Morris, life is good for a Michigan fan.

It that was the case, Marketing would not have a job. We still have the second half of the class to close and those will be the skill positions who may want the hype. Never know how your target "customer" will respond or what they want to see. We will always want positive national write ups.

So Rivals' Southeast recruiting analyst wrote a story last night about a school in his region that landed a lot of commits.  I don't see what the big deal is.  I'm sure Hemholdt will have something about Michigan on their front page today.

A little irritating, but does not change the awesomeness that occurred. Florida did have a nice weekend on a smaller scale in a quaint, we-have-so-much-talent-at-home-we-don't-need-to-look-outside-the-state kind of way. I would have to guess this was not an intentional slight and an article about our weekend is forthcoming.

You don't write a story about an event until it is over.

This is not a weekend happening... this is the beginning of a revolution.  Of Tremendousness.

Every time I see your avatar I do a double take. What the hell is Neil Devlin doing posting here??? I momentarily want to jump in your shit about the fact that private schools DO recruit and the DO dominate 3A unfairly and they SHOULD play in their own post-season... but then I realize and calm down. Still, it freaks me.

I love us Michigan fans. Not only do we want to talk about how awesome our class is, but we want every media outlet to talk about how awesome our class is.

Lately, ESPN has been doing a retroactive "re-ranking the classes" kind of thing. I'd rather this class be at the top of THAT list than any other list.

Listening to WTKA (use TuneIn radio if you're not in AA) and Sam Webb - during the game on Saturday, Taco Charlton and his family were in attendance.  At some point the Maize Rage started chanting "We Want Taco!"  He said that, along with watching our beautiful man Trey Burke - as an Ohio kid - tearing it up, was a big part of him committing.

Someone around Denard started it and then pretty much the entire right side of the Maize Rage started doing it. We wanted him to come over, but he didn't. He stood up and held the student "maize rage" shirt up for this year, and then we cheered him.

If that was actually part of his commitment, I'm glad us in the Maize Rage could do our part haha

is the aggregate score of all recruit rankings.

Unfortunately - it heavily discounts the caliber of players since the the scale is top heavy, ranking of players makes only a marginal difference.

Number of players is what they are primarily looking at.

When all is said and done, I'd expect Michigan to be in the top 5 again maybe top 3.

I mean who here would not have 100% accurate updates, analysis and results for an event that actually is finalized a year from now in their current positions?

I think they chose to highlight the big weekend for Florida so they could put that picture of muschamp on the front page. He always looks so confused.

I am not so sure Muschamp is as bad as most people down here, including me, thought he was.  I am beginning to think that Urban Meyer knew exactly what he was doing when he "retired" from the Gators.  Besides the politics of both his own family and the Brantley family, it is starting to look like Meyer knew he was going to have to rebuild instead of reloading, and didn't have the patience.

I am beginning to think Muschamp's confused looks are because he is thinking "where is the BCS Championship-caliber talent I was supposed to inherit on this team?"  A lot of people high on the coaching food chain have a lot of good things to say about him.  I think I'm going to wait until he gets his own people in before I judge him too harshly.  Picking off Brent Pease from BSU could help out a lot.

Then again, somebody on the staff has to be the "good cop."  It certainly won't be Muschamp or Pease.

...Mike Farrell of Rivals tweeted "So who was more impressive this weekend, Florida or Michigan. Answer soon."

It was clear to me he was baiting the hook because he knew or had a hunch about LTT.

An hour later, he tweeted "The answer is clearly...Michigan"

So Rivals does know how impressive this weekend was.

Of course, he also had this embarrassing tweet in between those two: "Best answer so far, nice and classy @NKissaras7: @rivalsmike Michigan retard... 7 already and still not done"
