Rich Rod's Twitter Page
Not a huge issue at all, but just for curiosity I'm just wondering who thinks RichRod is actually doing the tweeting on his page, or whether it's someone in the athletic department. He always talks about how he doesn't even remember what he wrote...I'm thinking he didn't write it.
And what's up with the latest ones..."Who is going to be ready when we SPOT THE BALL" or "Keep the MAIN THING the MAIN THING" lol. Hope to see a lot of hard edge in your responses.

is a quip from Steven R. Covey. Looks like Rich Rod is up to speed on good leadership readings

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a bit of input, but I don't think he actually, physically writes it.

Highly doubt it's him. Probably an intern. It's probably based on stuff he says, but, I doubt it's actually him.

...with the media the other day (Monday, I think) that he didn't know what he'd tweeted before practice. It's not him doing it, though maybe he has input sometimes. Tweeting, for sure, is not a main thing.

But if you don't have the time to do your own tweets—which are ridiculously short—then you shouldn't be "doing" them in the first place.

Particularly if they contain spelling/grammar errors, as I think one of them early in the week did.

I thought Twitter was an ongoing competition to see how many spelling and grammar mistakes you can fit in 140 characters.

You would think that if he was having someone write them, that there would be more...

He should really outsource that function to Tim "GO FIGHT WIN!" Brewster.

I remember after he was hired a WVU offensive playbook made the rounds. "Spot the Ball" was terminology for the offense to line up ready to play at the spot of the ball and start of the 25 second clock. If I recall correctly, "Spot the Ball" was one of the phrases that went up in the weight room back when the upgrades came together in early '08.

I would imagine RR does not have time throughout the day to tweet and that someone does it for him. I hope he is busy coaching and leading instead thinking of witty tweets. "Keep the main thing" RR - GO BLUE.

This is a bit of a tangent, but a very impressive and fun coach to follow on Twitter is Jim Schwartz. He uses it nearly every day. Sometimes he talks about practice, but he also talks a lot about his music interests. He's a very likeable guy and I hope he's the one that turns the Lions around.

Does Tim FIGHT Brewster write his WIN own tweets? I have TOUGHNESS a feeling that no CHARGE one else could GO communicate with such passion.
