Now that the 2009 class is just about full I guess it is about time to start on the 2010 guys.
September 29th, 2008 at 9:35 PM ^
So.......is that good?
September 29th, 2008 at 9:50 PM ^
Miller is widely considered to be one of the best junior WRs in the country. He's pegged as a high 4-star type on Rivals, probably in the Stonum range of the top 50 overall. This is a big pickup.
September 29th, 2008 at 9:50 PM ^
OMG HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A STAR ON RIVALS WHO IS RROD RECRUITING WTF SO SICK OF THIS
September 30th, 2008 at 1:18 AM ^
AND HE IS FROM FLORIDA. WHY WILL RR NOT RECRUIT THE LOCAL KIDS LIKE THIS WILLIAM CAMPBELL PERSON. WE MUST GET 4-5 5 STAR PLAYERS TO SUCCEED.
But seriously, these comments have appeared in the Free Press online section.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:27 AM ^
WE ONLY HAVE ONE RECRUIT FOR THE 2010 CLASS WHICH MEANS WE AREN'T IN THE TOP 5 RECRUITING CLASSES WHICH MEANS RR SUCKS AT RECRUITING AND WE'LL NEVER BE GOOD AGAIN. LLOYD!!!!!!!!!!

Forget the tight end BS. He's a WR.
September 29th, 2008 at 10:16 PM ^
He also has an offer from Florida. Come on Ricardo!
September 29th, 2008 at 10:24 PM ^
I have a bit up about Miller on VB
September 29th, 2008 at 10:36 PM ^
Well I was hoping we could get him and Jackson in the next class, lets hope that can happen I think the two of them would be a great combination along with McNeal.
September 30th, 2008 at 5:13 AM ^
this is huge. here's to ricardo kicking off a huge 2nd official recruiting class for rich rod..
September 30th, 2008 at 8:39 AM ^
I saw this stuff over at Victor's so FWIW, apparently all the talk on scout $ boards have been about Miller's prediction of a couple of more stunners during the "Lil Brah" week....don;t exactly know who's visiting during that week but apparently Fl S Marvin Robinson and Fred Jackson's kid are locks...at least for the time being!! Fingers crossed!!
September 30th, 2008 at 9:36 AM ^
i'd assume jeremy jackson is a lock.. and hopefully we can get the commit from marvin robinson. we were is favorite a while ago. if so, that would be by far the best start to any recruiting class we've had.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:37 PM ^
This assumption is probably wrong. I've heard from a pretty good source that Jeremy Jackson is looking elsewhere. Michigan is an option, but he's not going to come here just because his dad is a coach. There are other factors.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:57 PM ^
that he was thoroughly non-plussed by his experience at UT and UF this summer. I will say that this person is probably biased towards U-M, so take it FWIW.
EDIT: Just to clarify, still wouldn't consider him anything close to a "lock." Just some additional info.
September 30th, 2008 at 3:16 PM ^
I heard from a reasonable source that Michigan is not a lock. FWIW.
October 1st, 2008 at 7:52 AM ^
Might not be a lock, but he's still going to Michigan.
October 1st, 2008 at 11:10 PM ^
Hm, I guess I was wrong.
:)
September 30th, 2008 at 3:44 PM ^
well his dad on the staff is a plus. but, growing up in Ann Arbor it's hard not to want to goto michigan. i can say that because i did and virtually everyone that grows up in ann arbor has a soft spot for michigan. granted there are a few others who hate michigan and want to get out but that's just because they're dead set on going to state since they probably had family who wen't there.
so maybe he's not a 'lock', but i'd say the likelihood that we get him is high.
September 30th, 2008 at 8:50 AM ^
Apparently he didn't qualify there either!!
September 30th, 2008 at 11:47 AM ^
if we can snag 2 good sized outside WR's early for 2010, lessens the sting of (probably) missing on both shaq evans and reuben randle this year.
September 30th, 2008 at 12:00 PM ^
What sting? We never had a chance at Randle or Shaq to begin with.
My roomie at UF happens to be a good friend of Ricardo's. Kid really, really love Michigan - said he'd be committing if we lost all our games. He's a good kid, from what he tells me. Totally committed to football - doesn't drink or party or do anything else. He's in great shape
September 30th, 2008 at 12:04 PM ^
Robinson from Florida is likely to commit at MSU.....Rivals guys say he is a top 10 kid for 2010', and likely the #1 corner.
They hint at another commint but not sure who that would be, I guess JJ makes senes.
September 30th, 2008 at 12:27 PM ^
I have a good feeling about the next class. It would be nice to see RichRod pull in some 5-Stars and have a class like OSU has this year. My biggest hope though is that we can bring Devin Gardner in, if not I wouldn't mind seeing him somewhere down south or out on the west coast (just get him out of the big ten!). If he can pull Big Will back in and if theres ever been a pray answered as far as recruits go I hope we can pull in Jelani Jenkins.
I have a feeling about the future of Michigan football and damn it feels great!
September 30th, 2008 at 12:42 PM ^
can he return kicks ?
September 30th, 2008 at 1:00 PM ^
Can he CATCH kicks and then HOLD ONTO said catch until he is tackled or ENDZONE god willing.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:34 PM ^
I know this was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but Miller probably won't be the kick returning type. He's 6'3", 205 lbs. as a junior. And while he has good speed, he's probably going to be a prototypical Michigan WR who's 6'3" and 215 lbs.

His mom is alumni, I'm going to guess he stays commited.
