Reversed goal slowed down - You decide

Submitted by Quail2theVict0r on

So I took a video of the goal, slowed it down and to me I clearly see the puck cross the line AND THEN you hear the whistle blow. I don't buy the "intent" clause. That's some BS. This is a goal:

If Mich was winning by 1 in the third, Minn Duluth may have played much more aggressively (pulling their goalie for starters). They still may have tied it, in fact I'd say they had a good chance at doing so.

<br>Do I think the goal should have counted? Yes, but I also think that doesn't mean we win for sure.

Stop your bitching and complaiming. We lost, deal with it. They followed teh rule correctly, the ref intended to blow the whistle, and whether you agree with the rule or not is irrelevant, no one gives a flying fuck about your opinions. Suck it, stop bitching, take it like a man, and give UMD their props for playing better than us instead of blaming the refs.

What was sketchy about that whole situation was the Ref had the whistle in his mouth the whole time behind the net. He didnt raise it to his mouth for intent, so we have no idea when he "thought" about blowing the whistle.

So he has the whistle to his lips, doesnt blow it, doesnt blow it, then as soon as we score, he blows it. BS.
