Relax, Haterz

Before the board is locked entirely:

1) Losing sucks.

2) Like me, 95% of you dont understand Anything about X vs. O football

Before you all run to the local torch and pitchforkery, wait and let the pros review what we ran and why in the second half.  Remember that there were 2-3 turnovers.  That limits anyone.  So, please, wait for the calm sober light of tomorrow morning.

If you won't do it to keep from sounding like lunatics, and denigrating the board to the content of MLIVE, do it because the rest of us act like adults, and derive meaning from our own life accomplishments.  And we enjoy a nice, calm, reasonable MGOBLOG, fergodsakes.

Hugs and Kisses,

There are plenty of ex players and people who understand football on this board who express their unhappiness.  If the people on this board want to all hold hands, do group hugs and never listen to fellow Wolverine followers criticism then let's state that as a rule in the header of the board.  Too many people on this board attack posters if that don't write a positive post.  That is a joke, in my mind, this board is a place to create debate and express views.

Yeah, there is TWIS material all over the board. I'm disappointed and angry about the loss, too. However, this meltdown seems a bit extreme.

First, I agree. There is more to life than football. But this about passion and with passion comes highs and lows. It is safe to say that everyone is hurting over this loss. Fans, players, alum, and yes coaches. With that being stated, no one is ever above criticism or devoid of praise. The numbers speak for themselves and fans have to right to voice their opinion. MGoBlog gives the fans that outlet. I am not happy with the OC play calling. It became a point where even the play calling was a burden on the offense. I coach, but I also remain low key in that I will not assume or project that I know everything. What I do know is that as a coach, it is your job to put your players in the best position to succeed. Is running a 5' 6" RBI right into the middle of the line into a future top ten NFL draft pick the best idea? Or keeping the games most explosive player standing on the sideline for the last 8-10 minutes of a 1 score game? This is high pressure and high stakes, but that is why you get paid the big $$$$$$$$. Criticism comes with it. Now the decision that needs to come down is this. Can he handle to pressure moments to do what he is suppose to do, put players into position to make plays? In the 2nd half today, that did not happen and No, I do not need to be Bo to knows this.

play action worked the entire first half, and what did borges do the second half? abandoned it, gallon and tree were playing a great game they were our x factors, sure gardner and denard were keys, but our x factor today was our recievers and thats how we got 21 first half points.  borges abandoned the play action and passing game and we stalled. horrible, horrible play calling by the coaches, only one coach deserves any positive feedback and that is mattison, once again we lose a game (nebraska) to bad coaching.

if there is anybody in the yuma arizona area that is a M fan, lets drink

Football can get very, very complicated.  It is also frequently very simple.

When I  know Denard isn't going to throw, the announcers know Denard isn't going to throw  , then I think its safe to say that Ohio knows that Denard isn't going to throw either.

Where was the Devin and Denard show we saw against Iowa?  Were they even on the field on the same time for more than 3-4 plays?  What happened to having your best 11 on the field?
