redundant blog convos...

***edited and revised for the punctuation nazis*** I'm officially sick and tired of the nonsense. i don't know if i speak for anyone else here, but i come home from work and look forward to checking out this blog. I choose MGoBlog to find out how things are going in recruiting, workouts, and spring practice. I enjoy getting the inside scoop whether it's from TomVH or Joe Nobody (no offense Tom). i don't facebook players and i don't check their status, but i don't condemn the guys who do. they're are just at another level than i. i don't care to take the time to wonder if what they are doing is ethical and frankly, i don't care. we make a big deal about our "influence" on recruits which is probably about nill. there are hundreds of schools doing the same thing with the same guys out there checking facebook status'. honestly i'm not here to say whether this idea is right or wrong. i'm just saying that I DON'T CARE. the one thing i want to do is open a thread and not have to read the redundant bantering back and forth on whether we have been ethical in our blogging experience. first it was pryor, then forcier, then ricardo miller. who gives a shit! we had zero influence on ricardo miller committing withstanding the tickets we buy while filling the big house he wants to play in. the bottom line is: i sure as hell don't get on here to degrade our own people and/or debate whether johnblue32 is a good person bc of his insight or how he got it. i just want to talk about the facts. if i read "leave the kid alone he's only 17, you douche bag" again i'm gonna vomit.

I'm so sick and tired of all this crap. I don't know if I speak for anyone else here but, I come home from work and look forward to checking out this blog. I logg on here to find out how things are going for; recruiting, spring practice and Barwis workouts. It may be TomVH it could be joe nobody who has the inside. If they have the scoop I'd love to read about it. I don't facebook players and I don't check their status',but I don't condemn the guys who do. They're just at another level than I am. I don't care to take the time to wonder if what they are doing is ethical and frankly, I don't do that because I don't care. We make a big deal about our "influences'" on recruits which is probably about nill. There are hundreds of schools doing the same thing with the same guys, by checking facebook status'. Honestly, i'm not here to say whether this idea is right or wrong. I'm just saying that I DON'T CARE. The one thing I want to do is open a thread and not have to read the redundant bantering back and forth on whether we have been ethical in our blogging experience. We had zero influence on Ricardo Miller committing withstanding the tickets we buy while filling the big house he wants to play in. But I think that anyone who thinks their thoughts are important enough post, should themselves show respect of these thoughts by taking the effort to put those efforts in proper English and in a easy-to-read form. In other words, if you don't show respect for your own posts by taking a little effort, why should anyone else? Like it or not, packaging is important in all manner of life. Sloppy, careless packaging reflects poorly on the product, no matter how good.

Most of the readership here are University of Michigan students or alumni. And if you have been reading for any period of time, these people are (rightly) very proud of U-M's very high academic standing. This is, for the most part, your audience. Thus, it stands to reason that most people will have writing standards on these boards that reflect U-M as an academic institution. I like Dex' ADD analogy, but I thought of one slightly more graphic. If you are going to put your wanker in a hornets' nest, don't scream bloody murder in surprise when you get stung. hot dog, we have a wi-ener! I love this.

Why do you guys have to rag on the guy for his loose format style of writing? I mean, a lot of people here write in long division. Everyone has their own style. It's what makes us unique, I think. Hell, Dex sometimes it seems like you are writing some sort of mid evil form of pissed off elvish. j/k All I am saying is ease up on the guy. Especially you Dex because you can ride somebody hard...I mean you can ride a mockingbird until it won't sing. lol

the point of this blog was this line: "the bottom line is: i sure as hell don't get on here to degrade our own people." Now we're back to this. Sorry I gave you guys something else to bicker about.
