Recruiting (SIAP): Michigan offers DeVondrick Nealy (RB/WR/ATH)

Basically, UM offered. He has a lot of Southern offers. The Florida guys (state not U) like him. Good elusivity, good top end speed, above average acceleration. Glides at top end.

May be being looked at as a RB or a Slot.

Seems like he has several quality offers, especially being this early in the recruiting cycle. I especially like the offers from Duke and Stanford (for academic reasons).

Exactly. Even if not from a football standpoint (though Stanford is improving under Harbaugh) it's nice to see those early offers meaning that there likely isn't an issue with the kid qualifying. I've heard Nealy compared to Trony Drake ironically (speaking of issues with kids qualifying).

But your right - his offer list is solid. It will be interesting to see how much of an impact Michigan can have on him or if he is going to stay in the South. The good news though, is that he doesn't want to stay in Florida.

From reading interviews, etc. it seems like he really has his head on straight.

Not 100% positive, but I believe he plans to enroll early as well.

Similar to D. Hart, though smaller and probably not as fast. Still like him a lot.. maybe he'll be our only slot commit /hopes.

Yeah it actually popped up when I was writing it, but I was about to step away from the computer. Posts during work = not the highest priority to comply with the grammar/spelling police.

Frankly, I like the word better than elusiveness.

It's the internet, after all. :)

EDIT: FWIW, I take it all in stride. No problem with your post (wanted to make that clear). +1'ed you for calling me out but admitting you're being "that guy" when doing it. Cheers.
