Reading too much into Bacari Alexander's "twittergrind"

Submitted by ken725 on

Does this mean Stauskas, GR3 and McGary are all coming back?

or does it mean they are all gone? we'll know soon enough...people need to chill. JB has this thing humming and we may become a basketball school soon enough.

You're kind of right.  Duke won their division -- the ACC Coastal -- but wound up losing to FSU in the ACC title game.

But that still makes them better than Michigan as of late.  In football anyways (basketball burn).

It doesn't mean anything.  If he didn't post one of their pictures, you'd be on here saying "He didn't post Stauskas' picture, Nik must be gone!"

What is wrong with you, man?  This is the internet - this is no place for rational, calm thought.  It means something, and that something is almost certainly one of the following:

1.  All three are going pro, and they are taking Caris with them.

2.  All three are returning,

3.  Mitch McGary is leaving Michigan to accept a job as senior executive of State Farm (see the last pic);

4.  Shane Morris will start on opening day because Devin Gardner has conceded that he is a terrible quarterback, leader and human being; we will have negative rushing yards because after Derrick Green, Smith and Hayes all transfer to Ohio, we are forced to start Bellamy at RB.

I am fairly certain it is #4, but I suppose that #1 is equally possible.

I don't think you can read much into this. There are many, many tea leaves in twitter that suggest Nik is gone. But you don't know until you know.

has already landed the job as the Piston's next head coach. The size of his contract is why the future looks so bright to him.

I think it means competition is brewing at shooting gaurd between Zak Irvin and Nik Stauskas. If Nik doesn't enter the draft, he may have minutes taken away.

More than anything I'm ecstatic our asst coaches have stuck with us. Normally I would never suggest to name a "coach in waiting" but if it keeps them here I'm all for it.

We could just badger JMo tomorrow until he gives us the inside scoop. He'll be at David Merit's sore on South U.

An FYI to remember: Bacari has interns that run his Twitter feed.  That doesn't necessarily mean that he never sends out the tweets, but often he's not the one sending them out.

To me, this seems like an intern mis-step and then the blitz to kinda cover that mis-step.

Under the leadership of a normal coach, losing McGary, Horford AND Morgan would mean this team does not even make the tourney with a frontcourt of Doyle and Donnal, with Biefeldt huge minutes off the bench.

Under Bieline, the team will probably be in the national championship game.

BLine will go down as one of the best coaches in Michigan sports history.  He simply continues to overachieve.
