A reach conspiracy re: 3-pt shooting, fit of the jerseys
First, I admit to hating to wear baggy outfits when doing any activity, so this might just be my issue. Second, I cannot explain why our shooting would regress so much from behind the arc. Hence, I am simply posing a question regarding the fact that our jerseys and t-shirts seem really oversized (maybe it is just the blast of yellow) in this next Adidas scheme. My first thought was to why that even was considering the trend to more form fitting tops with many college/pro teams in addition to thinking that it would suck to play with something hanging on me. Shorts are a bit different story.
I was a terrible long range shooter so I assume I am not the best person to weigh in, but looking for some input.

Our jerseys look better than the ones ohio state and syracuse wear. Skin tight jerseys with shorts down to the ankles.

I guess I was an ok 3-pointer shooter in hs as I walked on to a small college for it, yes I'm short and white. The only thing that bothered me was to wear a t-shirt with sleeves while shooting. It seemed to restrict the upward arm motion once in a while, getting snagged on my shoulders. I doubt this is anything more than a conspiracy but many of our players are wearing t-shirts with sleeves this year. Yes, I know Manny did last year too. The baggy clothes thing never bothered me as much as they don't restrict your arms or jumping. I do however still wear only a cutoff t-shirt when playing ball though. Ahh, highscool memories!

I've always been more comfortable shooting WITH a t-shirt w/ sleeves, most likely because the sleeve helps to control the shooting motion.

When I play, tight shirts make it harder for me to shoot. And for me anyway it's harder to shoot when I have to tuck in my shirt.

MSU wears the tight Nike uniforms. It didn't stop them from shooting 2-19 yesterday.

the 3 pointer is a low percentage shot... so there are going to be bad days (this past weekend) and there are going to be better days. until michigan can establish some inside scoring to take the pressure off of the outside shooters they are going to have this problem. it has nothing to do with the uniforms...

How does K06e or whatev have over 1000 points? He is getting negged by the creator of the site in his threads and when posting complimentary things in other threads he gets negged. Could there be a doppelganger, maybe multiple account/s set up whose sole purpose is to posbang K06 to the moon? Btw, check out the voting stats. K06 negs like he means it.

Even if this theory is true, I'll take our looser uniforms and a few missed 3's any day over those skin tight numbers some teams are wearing. I don't need to see Ben Cronin's nipples when he steps up to the free throw line.
