i just added richrod on facebook. lloyd would never take my friend requests...
I had Rich Rod as a "friend" on Facebook...apparently there are two. I clicked on Rich's Twitter and it sent me a different Rich Rodriguez on Facebook...both saying Michigan Staff...hmm...
the one i added was listed on the RR twitter and all the football players are friends with that one

One for fans and players, one for recruits.
so I don't really know what "Twitter" is, but if I made a joke about Joe Paterno's "Twitter" would that be funny? Pls. advise.
Short answer: I don't know how you would go about making it funny, but you can try.
Long answer: Twitter is a microblogging site. Basically, people update what they are doing about 50 times per day and other people subscribe to see what they are doing. They can receive text messages with updates and update via text message. So, RR's twitter would be a status update of what is going on in spring training.

So anyone can do a Twitter? And people read these updates willingly? Like, it's not some kind of Gitmo torture?

to those that want nothing to do with it, but still get bombarded by people talking about other people's "tweets".
