Random "Tidbits" and Takeaways
If you've got some 24-hour later snowflakes...have at it.
Really, I've created this thread because the comments are gone from the Harbaugh presser and there are a few "tidbits" in there. Not everyone reads the pressers, so here you go:
- The extra "TE" with the random jersey with no nameplate is Cesar Ruiz. I thought it was JBB for awhile until I saw him on the sideline. They did it a lot with JBB last year.
- Onwenu is a big boy and can't go a full game in that kind of heat - Runyan replaces him to give him a rest...not because he's playing bad.
- Sounds like Kekoa Crawford went out - I didn't see that, I saw he had a cramp in his leg, but Harbaugh is asked about it and he responds like he had something more.
- Also, yes - we've got the #1 defense. Winovich and Bush are also #1 and #2 in the B1G in sacks (6 and 4.5 respectively).
- Harbaugh was getting on O"Korn after Michigan went up 20-10 because he yelled back at the Purdue sideline. You can see it if you look at him when Isaac scores instead of watching Isaac. Purdue's co-OC was O'Korn's old coach and the one who benched him.
- Still no word on Michigan/MSU start time.

We'll either know tomorrow afternoon or this upcoming Sunday afternoon. If it's going to be a night game it'll be announced tomorrow.

He looks a couple more hot dog eating contests away from wearing a muumuu.

I noticed how unhealthy he looked as well. His face has aged a lot.

graduated from the University of Michigan and works in Ann Arbor said that Crawford tore his achilles. Take that with a grain of salt, but it seems pretty legit.

Does this guy claim to have treated Crawford, or to have diagnosed him by watching television? If the second one, I make the same claim to have diagnosed Crawford with a cramp by watching television.
The trainer grabbed Crawford's foot and pushed up to stretch out his calf, which is exactly what you do for a cramp, and exactly the worst thing in the world for somebody with an Achilles injury.

This. They also would not have let him walk around freely for many minutes without any assistance from a person or crutches if it were an achilles - and there is rarely any doubt as to whether you tore your achilles or not.

I guess it's already been dispelled, I didn't see him after the injury and only saw it from a doctor. So thank god it's not true, a torn achilles is a career altering injury

This "doctor" posted a random comment to Reddit, or Scout, and you obviously believe it, because... reasons.

I'm sure he wanted to show his old coach that he had made a mistake. You can find his comments after the game.

Starts around the 2:00 minute mark - he is actually very generous and handled the question like a real pro. He included "those who stay will be champions" into the answer - have to like that and that he hoped Speight was OK.

While I'm happy he was just kicking extra points for a change, I'd have been okay with another 4+ field goals. As long as we win....

There are people on this forum who have called for Brandon Peters to start because hey, he looked good in the spring game. If you can always tell when people are sarcastic my hat's off to you.
Well, it would be if I wore one.
