Question of the week

Soooooo do you give Peters a shot or do you roll with O'Korn again and chalk up Saturdays game as simply a bad game? Obviosuly everything is earned in practice but just curious given the JO that showed up Saturday looked like the one from the Inidana game last year

If Peters gave us the best shot to win he would be the starting QB. I do wonder about Peters though bc he seemed like a real up and comer after the spring game. By most accounts Peters hasn’t even slightly pushed JOK or Speight at all in his second season, which is slightly alarming considering our level of QB play. Obviously the offensive line has not been at all conducive to successful QB play, but I am still slightly concerned that Peters hasn’t pushed for the job. Our defense is good enough to win any game as long as the offense doesn’t shoot itself in the foot every other drive. We do not have an identity at all on offense. We need to go 2000 ravens and pound the ball, play field position football, and take our shots in favorable down & distance situations. Scale back the complexity of the offense, and establish a physical identity!!!

O'Korn's played the majority of three games in his UM career.

Two had significant weather-related concerns, and in the one that didn't, he looked pretty good.

Frankly, as long as UM bangs its head against the wall trying to run inside zone blocking schemes along with grab bag bullshit offensive play calling that doesn't really do much to set up the offense, John O'Korn is pretty far down the list of issues with this team.
