Quavaris Crouch to choose school at 6:30 tonight

Crouch will choose between Michigan, Tennessee, and Clemson.  Clemson is assumed to be out.  Tennessee insiders think he'll be a Vol.  Michigan tweeted that interesting picture with him in the class.  I'm not sure where this is going.  At least we will know tonight...

Boggles my mind how anyone could choose Tennessee over Michigan.  Unless, they seriously have no interest in academics.  Not begrudging the kid's choice but it is hard to understand.  And not even a comparison football wise either.

Crouch made it clear he doesn't like cold weather. Pruitt isn't a bad defensive coach either and Crouch wants to be a linebacker.

Neyland Stadium is almost as big as the Big House, so the vibes will be similar. For all the bagmen people, Tennessee's class is good but it's no where near what Georgia was reeling in after Kirby was hired.

No doubt Georgia is cheating further affirmed by what Nolan Smith was tweeting out about his new whip which oddly enough was right after NSD.

Yeah wesq, glad that you have common sense unlike many others that post on this blog. An education and impressive GPA at UofM clearly cannot help this either in many instances  Doesn't take much thought or life experiences to see what is more than likely going on at Tennessee. Now the comments will follow how this sort of opinion is just pathetic and there is no proof to make assumptions. Years from now, hopefully these idiots will wake up one morning in their 40's or 50's and ask themselves how was I ever that stupid.

No, it's not.  But a pretty decent number of recruits don't have a single fuck to give about academics.

Quick story.  My kid has a class with a freshman FB player (I'm not naming names).  She says he's really nice, polite, shows up to class, and works hard.  She also says he has no business taking classes at Michigan.

I remember trying that strategy on at least one hot but nerdy looking Michigan coed. I selectively needed lots of help at Michigan...

Also, not to go there, but writing level doesn't necessarily indicate intelligence level, especially if someone was simply a decent student in their own school and never challenged in that way.

This isn't entirely true. On Forbes list of public Unis, Tennessee is around 30-something. I was talking to my buddy's kid (Bama fan) yesterday about why Michigan is superior in almost every facet. I went looking for said Forbes article to show how shitty Bama is by comparison and Tennessee was a good 35-40 spots ahead of Bama for what that's worth.

Yes, but on the other side of the coin, I just spoke to somebody that had Harbaugh in her honors English composition class.  She said the class wasn't easy, and Harbaugh was an active participant who wrote well.

I know enough people (transfers mostly because they don’t care about test scores) who weren’t particularly bright and did just fine at Michigan. You can make Michigan pretty easy if you want to, you can also make most any school really hard. Calc 2 isn’t going to be that much different at Michigan than Tennessee, and most kids at both schools aren’t taking it.

If the kid is working hard and showing up he belongs. No he probably won’t challenge himself with academically but he is challenging himself with a very high level of football.
