I don't follow recruiting too much. I know he's been high on Michigan, but what do the crystal balls say?
Can't tell if sarcastic but in case not, literally every piece of information available about Jadyn Davis indicates he's a lock to come to UM. Even so, folks are nervous because of history. We've been hurt before!

Like I said, I don't follow recruiting very closely. I had heard Davis was high on Michigan, but just wanted to get confirmation from people who follow it closer than I do.

Sam Webb has a gut feeling on this one. Usually means he’s basically already committed.

As did I. Still not sold on Sam's gut as his "gut" has been wrong before.
Name one recruit that Webb has specifically and literally said he’s got a “gut feeling” on who has signed with some other school.
Hate to say it but there have been several well-known instances when it has happened due to extenuating circumstances that appeared at the last minute, literally. Not Sam's fault. He just reports the info he gets. There's always Mike Weber from Detroit who was a Sam gut-feel commit to Michigan but signed with Ohio State.
There have been a few others but it's irrelevant. 95% (or more) of the time Sam has been correct, my guess being as a result of inside info from anonymous but reliable sources. If Sam says, gut-feel JD to M, book it! He won't say that unless he has not only heard the info from one reliable source but able to double check with other sources (such as the coach, player's parents or perhaps the recruit himself). "Sam the Swami"!!

There was one and Sam cites him as being the one guy. I forget his same. He was a corner who signed with Washington.
Yeah, that is the one I'm thinking of. Heard in the radio day before signing day say we were going to get that DB. Was a speedy important commit too.

Years of mild PTSD of following recruits and knowing random weirdness can happen. Key is to watch relatively passively until they get on campus (over 25 years of doing this every year). But since there’s a gut feeling here and nothing but UM buzz, I’d say your feeling is probably irrational and it’s gon’ be fine. But then again, maybe not - it’s not that serious!

Haven't followed the recruitment closely (and typically don't follow recruiting closely) but looking at that list, I can't help but feel good no UGA or Bama types are listed there.
EDIT: Parsing the image, I'm also seeing a nice 45-23 reference. There are 4 images of Davis and it's his final 5. Hence 45.
The content creator Hayes Fawcett (double t means 2) has a 3 at the end of his handle. Hence 23.
