Brohm might be trying to play nice to the press, but he ultimately is responsible for some very dirty play from his team today. That and the fact that according to Josh Henschke on Scout our locker room wasn't air-conditioned... not a good look, Brohm. Pretty much an asshole look.

I get tired of the "they have so much depth and wore us out" excuse. as if having more depth would help them win. maybe not be a shit show program and you can recruit better.

Here is what I don't get about today. What did anyone see that made them think this Purdue team is good? I'm being serious here. They couldn't run the ball except for a couple scrambles. They couldn't pass aside from tunnel and throwback screens. They sold out against the run and finally started getting burned when our coaches decided maybe we should take advantage of that. Against a team with an average offense Purdue gets smoked tonight at home on homecoming when this was their biggest game of the season (for some reason).

They are better than Illinois, but I don't see this team making a bowl unless Nebraska and Minnesota are worse than I think they are.

It was only close because we couldn't move the football on offense.  You put our offense from last season on the field today and this game finishes 45-10.  If O'Korn starts then it's at least a 38-10 game, maybe more.  I've liked Speight but JOK's performance today should leave no doubt who the new starter is.

I don't think anyone is suggesting Purdue is a world beater. They annoyed and frustrated Michigans offense for 2.5 quarters. They deserve some respect for the obvious improvements they've made with their new coach. Just because you say Purdue looks "better" doesn't mean Michigan looks "worse."

I think we learned more about M and where we stand. This was a solid, though dirty Purdue team which almost beat Louisville and squashed Mizzou. Right now we’re a top ten team and played like it especially in the second half. Ten yards, that’s all they had when we made adjustments.

I respect those comments and I don't think they are in any way a slight to Michigan. I think it compliments the team and the coaching staff. What I didn't care for was Brohm's consistent yelling, red face, and defensive coordinator. That coordinator owes some money to the "swear jar", he could have made a sailor blush. I think emotion is good, but he was toeing a thin line towards crazy lunatic.

I will say this - Purdue has found a life under Brohm that it hasn't had in ages really. That will eventually make the Big Ten West a more interesting place than it is at the moment, and that's actually a good thing in my opinion.

they whipped Missouri last week on the road.  Did not think his constant berating of the officials was warranted in the first half, or to the Fox reporter at half time.  He got the homefield view  and noncall of the helmet to helmet hit on Speight when Speight was already on the ground in first half.  Have seen many players including Bolden ejected for much less.  There were too many dirty plays for my taste today.  Glad he regrouped and composed himself to accurately account for what happened post game.  Credit to him for that.  Michigan held Purdue to negative yardage in the second half.  Had he whined about officiating after the game with that stat he would have zero credibility in the future.

I have to say, I think our physical conditioning is extraordinary. How else do we keep dominating no teams in the 4th while not have g much O?

But no A/C in the locker room and all the dirty play by some players really needs to be cleaned up. With a campus full of engineers, no A/C is especially shameful.
