Hearing the Michigan 'faithful' boo today made me sick. Completely disappointed in that display of 'fandom'.

Expressing yourself by rolling your lips in just before forcing out your foul breath is not okay. If you are not willing to cheer and encourage your team on while they are not performing up to expectations, don't buy a ticket or go to the game. Just because you spend money on entertainment does not entitle you to act that way.

If you want someone to succeed, do you boo them to or do you encourage them to push through and persevere? People forget these are impressionable young men who hear that and are affected by it. Yes, they need to be able to play through adversity. Do you really want to be the cause of that? These players want to hear you cheering loud and proud. Do it.

The masses need to know this is not okay. Don't let anyone in your section get away with this without ridicule. This needs to stop now.

Don't boo?  Hey I know some think everybody gets a trophy at the end fo the day...but they don't.  Winners take criticism, well placed or not, and use it to make themselves stronger.  Just check out Rashan Gary's post penalty play if you don't believe me.  Crappy call that got an appropriate response.

The players, but I wonder what the players would rather have: a few boos/groans of displeasure from the fan base, or fans leaving the game early? To me, I'd rather hear it then watching my supporters leave while the battle is still ongoing. That to me is being quit on.

Are people booing the players? They can only do what they are capable of doing. I think the boos are for the coaches, expressing displeasure at play-calling, clock management, etc. I get that booing will have zero impact on what JH does...he doesn't care about booing. But there's nothing wrong IMO for expressing your displeasure. I ABSOLUTELY do not think people should boo the players and I hope the players understand that they themselves are not the target.

I'm confused...don't boo your own team BUT boo the opposing and chant "you suck" to the other team???
Isn't the other team made up of college students???
And I'm not going get into some of the repulsive comments people make in the stands about players.
IMHO, give this a rest. They are big boys and need to learn to take criticism.

"We're gonna believe in each other, we're not gonna criticize each other, we're not gonna talk about each other, we're gonna encourage each other. And when we play as a team, when the old season is over, you and I know, it's gonna be Michigan again, Michigan."

Take this to heart, all you individuals who think it is OK to boo The Team.

Team!
Fans are not on the team! People always have a way of spinning, shit! I love my Michigan teams all of them and I would love to think I'm the #1 fan but I'm just a human. I don't matter in the grand scheme of things! This team will hear way more booos in Madison, Happy Valley, and a number of other places. However, I got caught up in the moment yesterday and that damn play call or execution on 3 and 10-11 was absolutely horrible. Now I'm not in the huddle but if that shit was by design, BOOOOOOOOOO! I apologize to all thee purists Michigan fans like myself with season tickets who are/were offended.

If you dont think we are a part of the "Team" then find another school to root for. We are for one thing, the success of Michigan football. If you don't think 110,000 people cheering instead of booing helps our team, find a new school to root for. You may not run the ball, kick a punt, or even pour the players water, but we all are a part of Michigan. We are all a team.
