Hearing the Michigan 'faithful' boo today made me sick. Completely disappointed in that display of 'fandom'.

Expressing yourself by rolling your lips in just before forcing out your foul breath is not okay. If you are not willing to cheer and encourage your team on while they are not performing up to expectations, don't buy a ticket or go to the game. Just because you spend money on entertainment does not entitle you to act that way.

If you want someone to succeed, do you boo them to or do you encourage them to push through and persevere? People forget these are impressionable young men who hear that and are affected by it. Yes, they need to be able to play through adversity. Do you really want to be the cause of that? These players want to hear you cheering loud and proud. Do it.

The masses need to know this is not okay. Don't let anyone in your section get away with this without ridicule. This needs to stop now.

We watched this inept offense handcuff and cost us the 2016 season. On top of that, Speight somehow looks even worse this year. So, yes... this offense gets a loud boo from me as they continue to fail to move the ball against subpar defenses and cause our defense to wear down in attempt to keep the lead for the good guys. Just in case Speight failed to hear me, BOOOOO!

Honestly, this does absolutely no good. This is a very young team that was making a bunch of mistakes you would expect from a young team. It was not just speight, the offense was out of rhythm because people were making mental mistakes that killed drives. Booing will not give them confidence.
Moreover, it is a horrible look for the recruits in the stands and watching on TV. Why in the world would a top notch qb, or recruit, want to go to Michigan if douchebags like you boo when the young team is making mistakes and not winning by enough.

The only time that I can remember it being appropriate to boo in Michigan Stadium as a Michigan fan is when Shane Morris was put back in the game.

Eh, in certain circumstances one can tell the boos are obviously for the coaching rather than the players. For example, deciding to punt rather than go for it on a close 4th on the opponent's end of the field--that will often get some boos. Same with taking multipe timeouts in a row. I give the players enough credit to recognize that.  However, I grant that today, at least on TV, it definitely felt like some of the boos were directed at the play itself and the players.
