Pre-Game Open Thread
The live chat isn't up yet and I'm watching Game Day and bored. I can't be the only one, so I thought we could have a pre-game open thread. Corso just picked Notre Dame to win today and Desmond looked at him and said "Are you serious? Have you seen this Notre Dame team play?" then to be polite he said it was a "toss-up game, I guess" and went on to slam ND for not having a big win since 1996. Just to pile on, Herbie said that was being generous.
There was a sign in the background that said "Pryor Takes Cell Tech" on one side. What does that mean? It said "SEC is slow" on the other side, so...
I hate Ohio State as much as any other self-respecting Michigan fan, but whatever architect(s) designed the horse shoe did an alright job, it looks imposing and substantial. The sharp angles of the upper decks, and that cupola thing, are sort of reminiscent of a gothic cathedral. Not bad. Perhaps the only thing about OSU that I can begrudgingly respect.
Okay, I came home really late and was afraid I'd sleep through the game (it happened last year) so I stayed up all night. Now I'm half-drunk (getting back there) and stupid tired. Anybody else loopy for the Purdue game?

here is for now if you want, this is college game day. You have to make a quick bs account with an email but you dont have to go to your email to verify it to start watching so you could prolly make a fake email haha. I'll see if i can find a link for the game.

I see that, too. When it is partially hidden behind the game day crew it doesn't look quite as tall. Now I can't unsee the toilet. Those upper decks look dangerously fun. I wonder if people ever fall and roll down the stairs.

OSU is really loving The White Stripes this morning. I wish UM had something comparable to OSU or like when PSU does" Zombie Nation" or Wisconsin's "Jump Around".
I know most people hate the piped in music but it seems like an awesome atmosphere when these rival schools play their songs during home games. Here come's the hotstepper!
