I think I am going back to play B-ball at Michigan for my 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of eligibility!  Pipe dream, probably, since 5'10" and 30 years old (and white)...but Novak has motivated me!!

My company is part of the construction team for the new Crisler additions/ renovations going on right now.  If you like the PDC, wait until you see what Crisler is going to look like next season.  It will be like a whole new building with some really cool asthetic features.

The PDC is Gorgeous. So what can you tell us about the work at the Crisler Center? I heard the announcers say something during the Illinois game about the floor being cut up and a new floor put in. Here's a bunch of questions:

  1. Is the actual arena done, with the exception of the floor? So far, they have done new lighting, new seating, and a new sign/display. Is there anything else?
  2. Last year, I understood they did a lot of infrastructure work (obviously, the lighting.) What all was done to the roof? Anything with HVAC? With data lines?
  3. I get that they are doing a new entrance/atrium with a fountain, escalator, and new ticket area. Anything else in that area of the building?
  4. They are somewhat constrained with the concourses, because you can't really blow out the walls of the building . . . or can you? What is happening with the concourses ringing the building, both inside and out? Will there no longer be an outside concourse?
  5. Is there anything else happening? Is the food changing? Other stuff?
  6. Will Crisler be more usable as a venue for concerts and other events? I'm curious . . . because of the PDC, is the team pretty much done with practicing in Crisler, or do they still use it on occasion, other than game time?

Lol at McLimans. It looks like they just smashed his body down into a smaller frame.  Pretty impressive that such a beanpole coming out of hs could have been recruited to D1 schools.
