I don't know what is going on with this new site but like the OP, I can't copy and paste from a phone anymore when I use this site. I didn't have that problem before the upgrade. I don't sit in front of a desktop or laptop to post on message boards anymore. I don't know if it's just my phone or my browser. I've tried multiple browsers and it still doesn't work. My phone doesn't have a "ctrl" key.
If I change the source code, I can paste text but pasting a clickable hyperlink properly or a picture is impossible.

The MGoBoard for mgoblog 3.0 is just very flawed all-around. A few key things still haven't been fixed since it launched 4 months ago.

You have to click the chain looking button to add a clickable hyperlink. Then a box will pop up and you can import your link in that box on mobile.

That has never worked for me until now. I just tried it and now works. Also, when I went to the icon to post a picture, it redirected me to a screen I hadn't seen before. It didn't tell me to hit ctrl+v in order to paste. Somebody must have changed something. I tried this earlier today and it didn't work.
