It probably won't stick, but my mind is still blown to pieces over here. I guess I should feel proud, but I don't for some reason?

that's one hell of a change of pace going from shaq to sims, thunder and lightning?

It's more like Thunder and Flatulence.

but he's been a monster in the D-League this year. He notched a triple-double in the second game of the season (22 points, 17 rebounds, 11 blocks)! At the end of December, he was also leading the league in blocks, was 5th in the league in scoring and tied for 2nd in the league in rebounding.
Petway's also flourishing, averaging 10 pts, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks per game this year while playing 31 minutes per.
Why couldn't we get this production a few years ago? Wait, I just remembered...Tommy. Nevermind.

I wouldn't say 10/4/2 in 31 minutes is flourishing. A 6'8" potted plant could get that. But I always did like Petway.

I guess that's not huge production, but it seems to me that he's got the Anderson Varejao role going on. It's the intangibles with him...and yes, the hair designs.

Petway had a ben wallace like style which I thought would garner some attention. Plus, shaving the winged helment into his head for the OSU game was awesome.

Ben Wallace game? Petway was never a very good rebounder. And while he could block shots, he wasn't all that great of a post defender overall. He needed Barwis to put some meat on his bones.
